We booked the Family Suite for 4 nights. The listing was misleading, stating that there would be two twin beds. Instead, we got a pull-out day bed for my teenage kids to share. The shower was super tiny, and you needed to bend down to wet the top of your head. The bathroom door latch was ripped out and could not be shut without fear of it falling open. The floors had soft spots and were not level (doors between rooms could not be shut because of this). No HVAC in the second room. The staff was fantastic and tried to accommodate us. We tried a roll-away cot, but ultimately, we decided to cut our stay short and move to a different hotel. It was disappointing.

The property was clean and bright. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The pictures online were photoshopped heavily, making the property look so much better than it was in reality. The pool was visibly dirty and fulled with leaves and debris. In 48 hours never saw any attempt at cleaning it. The breakfast was 100% breads & apples with no protein options. The Family Suite was minimal, with only one chair (no couch as shown in the picture). Of the two twin beds, they were connected side by side, and was broken to the point that we had to pull the mattress off and have that person sleep on the floor for 2 days. On a positive, the staff was friendly and the queen bed & pillows were very comfortable.

The location felt safe and was perfect in the Marina District. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast provides delicious local pastries and coffee. This will be my go to hotel when visiting San Francisco.

Friendly and professional staff. Clean room, comfy bed. Felt safe due to it being gated. Cute design. Cable was glitching.

Location. Staff was wonderful. Booked two rooms. One was great (second floor). One was not (first floor). Bad room had no hot water. Television worked but bad reception and the room and bathroom had no circulation (no a/c or fan).

Great location, friendly, helpful staff, clean. Retro vibe! Nothing
-
Convenient, no charge for my Puli, nearby parking for $25/night. Free bottle of wine, good breakfast items that we brought to our room. We slept really well at the Del Sol.

Our days and nights at Hotel Del Sol were a delight! The staff was so warm and helpful, and we really enjoyed the courtyard and pool. The location was ideal, with many sights and delicious restaurants within easy walking distance. Will definitely stay here on my next trip to San Francisco.

The atmosphere Not good quality of bed and sofa bed

Fire pit on the patio and pool on the premise. Spacious rooms with double queen beds available upon request. Clean, accommodating. Nothing

Hotel Del Sol was great! Staff was friendly, the room was clean. Would stay again.

The location of this hotel is great. It also offers parking. The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice and helpful.

The entire hotel is enclosed so it feels super safe. A little enclave, if you will However. No screens on windows. No fridge in the room. The building is old so the rooms are small and the bathrooms are like coffins. Beds are hard and doubles. TV was not HD. IT'S WORLD CUP. No HD. But the worst part is the parking. Yeah, there's parking. It's first come-first served. If you can get it, you can park your 21st century car in a 1970s parking space. I have a mid sized SUV. Not even a big one. For the bargain price of $51/night, I got to crawl out the back because there's not enough room to open the doors. We would not stay again, because of the beds and the bathroom. It was not enough space for a family and no fridge is a deal breaker.

Great location within walking distance of lots of great shopping and restaurants. Fun property with friendly staff and fun amenities. Great pastries and coffee for breakfast. Kids enjoyed the pool!

My husband said this was an nostalgic experience

The hotel was in a great location for our trip; however, it had only one non-functioning ice machine, no mini fridge or microwave and the shower dispensers were empty. Hotel is in major need of a renovation.
