Lombard Plaza Motel

The room was clean and comfortable. A little small, but not too bad. The location was great. Dining options and the bay are within walking distance. Parking is free, which is great, but is limited and extremely tight. I do not recommend trying to park there with a large vehicle.

Older motel but well maintained. Street noise was a bit crazy on 4th of July but that's not in the motels control. Parking is very tight. Very walkable to the piers and GG viewpoint. Otherwise. Uber about $10 a trip. Very happy with our stay

The motel was very old outside but the room was renovated. It’s clean. Stayed one night. Chose this motel because it included parking.

It’s in a perfect spot it was clean and comfortable.

This is a great place to stay and save money. The room was very clean. The property felt very safe and even though you are surrounded by the busy city it was surprising quiet in our room. The only thing I would warn someone about is the windows. The window has a blind shutters which looks cute but does zero to block out any light. The rooms face the sunset so as soon as the sun comes up your room getting very bright. We found it impossible to sleep once the sun came up.

Parking was very tight but free. The employees were wonderful. Check in was quick and easy. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything was great except the cramped parking

As other reviewers have stated, the parking is VERY narrow. Plan on pulling into the back, turning around, and backing into a parking spot. There is more parking on the left side of the building. We were not very hopeful upon pulling up due to the locale, but we were pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was. For a one-night stay, it was more than adequate. Plenty of restaurants to walk to. It was a bit of a haul, but we walked to the marina area to see the bridge and Alcatraz. Even with a bad hip, I made it ok. If you are city savvy, the buses run right through the area to get to other areas to see the sights.

Welcome to San Francisco often to go to concerts. We have stayed at almost every hotel on Lombard Street. First time here and it was fine. Close walking distance to restaurants. Clean rooms. Comfy ! We would stay here again !

Pros: Great location, lots of eateries nearby and the marina is closeby. Free parking also (can be tight for SUV’s and larger vehicles). Friendly and accommodating staff.

Very clean room. The coffee wasn't great, but there are 2 very cute coffee shops a couple blocks away, and a nice breakfastrestaurant. Great location for city transportation, with a bus stop very close. I would recommend to the hotel to add curtains in the rooms. The lighting is very bright and comes through the blinds. I'm glad I had a sleeping mask.

The wifi was very slow and was not working.

Very well situated in the Marina, near Crissy Fields and the Golden Gate. The rooms are in excellent condition, at a reasonable price.

The staff was extremely helpful. The location was outstanding.

The parking was tight and difficult. The property was rundown and tired. The room was clean and fine for the money. We chose this motel for the free parking and the ratings on Expedia. The ratings did not correctly reflect the state of the property.

The outside was pretty decrepit and janky in an area of town that wasn't lovely, but the room itself was clean and well-maintained.

Nice older motel. Well maintained. Good location for the wharf and Golden Gate Bridge Park. On-site parking which is a plus in San Francisco.

The room was very very clean. The beds were sufficiently comfortable. While it was small, it had all the necessary elements including a microwave and refrigerator. There was an issue with the toilet, it kept running. A hose had come loose in the tank and we kept having to reach in to fix it. Not ideal for the price we paid for the room.

Great location and property well maintained

The location of the motel was great. Plus there was public transportation nearby the motel. The shower head was broken, so I had to place a small wash cloth around the shower head to keep water from spraying all over the bathroom. I informed the inn keeper that the shower head needed new plumbers tape.
