Nice

Perry's restaurant downstairs was excellent.
-
The front desk was rude. He didn't seem to care about anything when I checked in. He didn't listen to me. The room was small and the floor was sloped. No outlets near the bed. 1 near the door. And 1 in the bathroom.
-
Convenient location for Oracle Park and Fisherman’s wharf. Nice casual restaurant attached.
-
The front desk staff is amazing. The blond woman at the front desk handled a homeless person with such kindness. The hotel is convenient but the property seems to be decreasing.

Staff and cleaning crew were just lovely and helpful in every way

Out air conditioning never worked in our room but staff quickly had a fan in the room. Rooms were very spacious. Our balcony had a cup of cigarette butts in them that never got tossed out. It’s an older hotel that had unique charm. The water filtration station was excellent. Overall, staff did their best to accommodate us despite some of the amenities not being up to par and things not being as tidied up as possible. Parking was a bit of a pain. Would I stay here again if I didn’t have a car, 100%. Good spot in the city. Very walkable area.

Location excellent, staff very helpful , room very nice .
-
There is no air conditioning.
-
There was a power outage, blown transformer, during our planned stay. So we had to move to another hotel. Another issue is the floor was not level, even though we were on the fourth floor. It was uncomfortable with a sloping floor.
-
Room was ok at best - no screens on the sliding door and no lock just a piece of pvc to keep door closed - electric went out first night we had to leave - at this point we have been promised our money back
