Hotel Griffon

Room was tiny. No mini fridge. The bathroom sink was in the sleeping area. The TV didn’t work, and after notifying staff, they couldn’t fix it.

Clean room but Small. Also no refrigerator.

Just what I needed for a place to sleep and shower.

Staff was incredibly helpful with one of our disabled members of our party. We had an incredible family reunion and the property and its staff was a major reason. Thank you again and we are already planning our return visit

Great hotel especially if you can get a room by the water. Very nice and quiet. The card system is outdated (which the front office staff was transparent about) so I probably had to get 4-5 new key cards that I kept deactivating.

Just a basic room to sleep in. Bed was very firm and not very comfortable. Pillows were overstuffed and made my neck hurt. Property was clean and staff was friendly. Elevator is very small and narrow. Not much to the hotel other than the location. AC was very loud turning on and off.

Staff was amazing, the place is a little bit old and is next to a restaurant. The parking situation SUCKS so be ready

Filtered water was nice, bed was very comfortable, water pressure in shower was excellent, staff were friendly. Loved the Y next door - next time I’d book directly with the hotel so I wouldn’t have to pay for a gym pass. My key card stopped working every other time I used it, which was annoying. The person staying above me sounded like they were stomping out laps at 3am.

DO NOT STAY HERE The room that this hotel gave me faced into an alley and STANK of fried food. There was a kitchen extractor fan rumbling endlessly outside the window and the smell was stomach turning. The front desk atff said that no other rooms were available. NIGHTMARE HOTEL

It’s a good hotel to stay in to sleep and stay out mostly all day. Clean, staff was helpful, but isn’t flashy which is okay. Overall good hotel to stay in

Great hotel across the street from the bay Ferry. View of the bay bridge A nice 25 minute walk to the Giants stadium along the water. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Perry’s restaurant and bar are wonderful also in the hotel

The front desk staff at Hotel Griffon really stood out to me--Aaron was able to get me into my room early, Gladys was quick to help when my keys couldn't work, and Carlos was able to switch my room in the middle of the night when an unknown allergen started to trigger my asthma. The rooms were very clean, I must say--my asthma is just very sensitive and I don't see this as a fault of the hotel or their cleaning staff. Having free water refills available in the lobby was also a lifesaver. The location was excellent! Being able to walk to the metro, streetcar, bus was super convenient, and I even walked to Fisherman's Wharf since it was so nice to be near the water. I would gladly stay at this property again.

We enjoyed our stay. Housekeeping kept the room very clean. Only problem was there was no mini fridge in the room. Great location for visiting San Francisco!

Great hotel all around

The location was fantastic the bathroom was awful you could barely fit in it.

Parking is off site, but there are many garages close by. Would stay here again.

I liked that it was close to ocean also it had a nice restaurant at the same place. They had no parking and the garage next door was pretty expensive

staff was great, check in was smooth, there are rolls for breakfast that are very good. Close to bus stop.
