Rooms were clean, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great a lot of variety. Aesthetics kind of artsy but overall great stay.

Breakfast buffet was good.

Elevators were a mess, not enough to service the volume of people. Breakfast buffet also not set up for the number of people dining. Could hear neighbors as if there was a hole between our rooms. Left a day early.

I never leave reviews but felt compelled here: The elevators are horrible - if you have a family or any kind of luggage it’s near impossible to get one that can fit 4 people because they are all full. When we finally did get one we could squeeze into, we stopped on several floors where no one could get on and had to keep waiting. The room smelled like stale cigarettes and the toilet leaked, we threw towels on the floor because we only stayed one night. They overbooked and tried to force us into a king room instead of a double queen, seemed annoyed when I asked for my original booking. This place is HUGE, feels like a safety hazard. Wouldn’t recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency. The atrium has such a welcoming atmosphere considering that it is the largest Atrium lobby in the world! It still managed to feel cozy. The staff was friendly, attentive, and well staffed. The location is excellent as well; the BART is steps away from the entrance. It’s also wonderful to end the evening in the Financial District. The Ferry Building is steps away from the hotel and has so much to offer food wise (for young & old :), Not to mention, the convenience of hopping on to a ferry to Sausalito for a day getaway. Highly recommend staying at the Hyatt.

Large property and helpful staff - can get a little loud outside at night

So modern clean and friendly

Stayed here for the San Francisco marathon (highly recommend as the start line is steps away!). The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and gave us a room that had a view of the Bay Bridge. We thought the room was more than adequate - quite spacious, lots of room in closet, and comfortable. The only negative we would have is the thin walls. We were on the 6th floor and we could hear the noise from the bar on the lobby level, as well as all the noise from the marathon start line. We will be staying here for our next SF race!

Clean and comfortable!

It was a good property and close to some fun things. My Dad was with me and is 93 and has a hard time walking and our room location was really far for him to walk. I needed a wheel chair and was charged for one and that's fine but my Dad just stayed in the room to avoid the long walk.

Room was spacious and clean. Best part was the staff. Everyone was friendly and was speedy when bringing things to your room. Only thing that was a concern was the way you could hear everything from the ground. There was a party downstairs and we heard the music and the dj like they were in the next room but we were all the way up on the 8th floor. Im sure it’s because of the way the building was laid out. Great stay otherwise.

Loved everything about my stay. Staff was extremely helpful and even went out of their way to upgrade us. The hotel is beautiful as well as clean and the room was extremely better than described when booking. Definitely coming back.
