Hotel Stratford San Francisco - Handwritten Collection

I booked two rooms and both were very clean, location is excellent, it felt very safe

There is no air conditioning and the evenings were cool so we left the windows open and the ceiling fan on and it was comfortable (the bathroom window didn't have a screen...but we left it open anyway because we were on 3rd floor. The café in the lobby offers coffee and other items. There was no coffee pot or coffee in our room. Also there were no cups or glasses.

The room was great. Some other reviews mentioned a sink outside the bathroom, not in my room. The room appeared newly renovated. I would stay there again. The only concern was the area, you just need to be aware of your surroundings.

Fantastic hotel for a night in the city. The rooms are very modern and the location is perfect!

The shower head wasn’t good, the water doesn’t spray properly. The TV was so small and high which made it difficult to see anything on it. The receptionist didn’t know much about the parking garages in the area.

First time staying near union square , its very convenient if you plan to stay for a couple days and walk around everything is walkable . I dont believe this hotel is recommenided for a big family its more intimate for couples or with a friend . The hotels are very small enough to do your business go in n out and get to see whats out there i see it more as a college dorm for what your paying its worth it i guess . If your driving with your car be prepare to leave your car at a parking garage near the hotel and pay about 40- 45 dollars some dont have in n out privelages .

Lacking a personal touch. If you prefer to not interact with people, this is your place.

It was very amazing experience

Nobody clean the room for our 3days of stay. We even requested it but still nobody did. Even the request for towels, you have to beg and it will take time for them to deliver it in the room. Water was not even an option. Their water station broke down and they was not even helpful to provide an alternative solution.

There was no coffee pot, nor any glasses in the room.

No breakfast. Room is clean but looks a bit old.

Pretty thin on amenities and a very small room for the price. Breakfast restaurant doesn't open until 7:45. Great location, though.
