The room was decent and clean. The hotel feels dated but pretty good value, and the SoMa area is dirty and sketchy, especially after dark. The restaurant was also overpriced for the quality.

The staff, location and room service were excellent. Walkers would enjoy this location because shopping and dining are all within walking distance. Not too far from the Golden gate bridge and the airport. Highly recommended. There is only 1 restaurant in the hotel and closes early so be aware!

Room, staff, check in process was easy going! Loved the view from our room but I will say the check out process took some time.. waited 15+ minutes for the elevators to reach our floor, but every time they’d open it was full so my partner and I along with another group of people decided to take the stairs then we proceed to wait 20-30 minutes for valet to pull up with the vehicle. Although it took a while, staff was still nice and attentive.

My daughter and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency SOMA for four nights - the hotel is beautiful, tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. The room was spotless, the staff was friendly and the prompt daily room service was appreciated. We took advantage of the food in the Regency Room - snacks and beverages available all day, breakfast was a plentiful buffet which we enjoyed every morning. The staff behind the desk were always very helpful as we were new to the city - they helped us with taxis and Ubers and were so friendly. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful property and should I travel to San Francisco again, I will certainly stay there again.

This was a beautiful stay! I absolutely loved this hotel. I would say be careful about the parking before booking. There’s not really a parking lot available if you’re from out of town. Also, for the vallet, me and my partner did get over charge with the vallet. It can add up for quickly if you are not aware. Overall, this was a great experience and would love to comeback again :)
