Great place to stay. Very safe and easy to get to places throughout the city. Nice staff. Good rooms. Parking onsite. Just call ahead to reserve. Fillmore is close by for restaurants and japantown is the best.

Kimpton Hotel Enso is a rare find in the heart of Japantown. Its unbeatable location made it so convenient to get to all the places we wanted to explore, while still offering a quiet retreat to return to. The moment you step inside, the lobby welcomes you with a warm, serene atmosphere that immediately sets a peaceful tone. The rooms are spotless and beautifully kept, and the staff brings it all together with genuine kindness and helpful professionalism that makes every moment feel completely effortless.

The staff was wonderful! They provided a toothbrush and tea, free of charge, and let us keep our car parked in the garage an extra hour. I will definitely stay here again!

Unfortunately the parking was full which meant we were left trying to find parking in the city. Lucky another hotel allowed us to park with them or we would have been in trouble. The hotel is nice and well appointed but if your bringing a car call ahead to see if they have parking or you may be out of luck

There was a strong mildew smell in the bathroom, and with the hotel fully booked I was stuck living with that odor. I didn't shower as a result. I'm angry and seriously confused.

Right at Japantown, this hotel is really neat. It’s our first time here. We could have stayed here a long time ago. The rooms and beddings are super clean. Their small restaurant serves good breakfast too. The staff are very helpful and excellent specially Eddy at the front desk.

Parking was minimal and not guaranteed--check in early if you really need it! Amenity space & dog support was excellent.

I enjoy this hotel, I feel they need to inform you at check in the amenities that the hotel has. I was only spoken to when I arrived. Nothing told me where the ice and water was or the Bar on the first floor/ It might sound picky but, paying these rates. they should be more customer focused and not just speaking to one another.

The room was very spacious with a morning nook to boot! Great view. Walls in bedroom are solid but you can hear neighbors through the bathroom. Spoke with many staff members and all were attentive and pleasant. Definitely a go to future spot for our family!

Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The room was very clean. The staff were great! Our family members enjoyed the coffee & sitting area to visit. We also used the courtyard.

Nice hotel, we booked on purpose here because of parking on premise, but was limited on parking so we had to park at parking garage a block over. All was fine and was able to move next night.
