This is a true gem! Check in was 4pm and we arrived around noon exhausted after our early flight from NYC. We asked about an early check in or if we could store our bags when we arrived at the hotel. There were extra rooms and they put us into a room right away. We were about to shower and head out to explore SF completely refreshed. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. We had a fabulous dinner at Nari. Not only was the restaurant and food beautiful, the food was inventive and delicious. The next morning we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast outside overlooking the koi pond. Don’t miss the yummy Japanese rice pudding! We will definitely be back.

Excellent staff and excellent location, with clean rooms

Arrived and unpacked. After about 45 minutes the room still hadn’t cooled down. Went to inform the front desk. Night Mgr Ethan contacted his engineer. Due to recent heat wave, several rooms had problems with the air conditioning. Ethan gave us another room and had his engineer test it. Ethan was polite, prompt and professional. At my request he extended our checkout time to make up for the time we spent unpacking, repacking then moving to a different room and unpacking again. Thank you.

Beautiful location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and serviced so well. We definitely took advantage of the coffee and tea bar. Very comfortable and luxurious stay.

In the heart of Japantown. Good sushi nearby. Expansive lobby. Parking is a bit of a hassle. Parking above ground at hotel $49 with no in/out. Parking underground lot $30/night lot opens 9am staff says they can assist if gate closed. Didn’t get locked in. Construction bins all around. Geary is a noisy street.

Everything as clean, well situated, and the staff super help-full, they have free coffee and tea in the lobby is was nice.

The hotel is in a really great, fun location with easy access to the city. The staff were all lovely and having the restaurant Nari on site was incredible. Unfortunately the room I was in was pretty basic, not super well maintained and felt more like a basic motel than a nice hotel. There are also no real amenities despite paying an additional resort tax. I would recommend this if you are looking for a nice simple hotel in a good area.
