They are lying about the free parking, I have to walk 3 blocks from the hotel to get the parking spot on the road side, all the paid parking places are closed when we get to the hotel around 10pm.

I felt safe at this hotel, when you go to the stairwell it is secured with your keycard. Clean, I read reviews that you didnt get housekeeping during your stay but I did so that was nice. Middle of a busy street so expect city noise. I did so I was not surprised. I would stay here again.

The cost and location. It's walkable to Japantown and there's a lot of good food available in the Tenderloin. This hotel is just outside the Tenderloin and was cleaned up a lot. It has been maintained. If you like nightlife, that is also within walking distance. The Great American Music Hall is also within walking distance for concerts. We were originally going to rent a room here when we booked in July. However, the cost was more than usual (we have stayed 2 other times) so we went with another hotel. Ended up leaving the other hotel (was awful) and saw the cost of rooms at Rodeway were back to normal rates and went there. Wish it were the usual rate 2 months ago so we didn't waste money.

The price was right even before you factor in the free parking, but get there earlier rather than later if it’s Friday/Saturday/Sun. It will fill up fast. Clean and comfortable enough, and everything worked. Staff competent. Great central location. Street noise filters in, sirens, motorcycles. Like many less expensive motels, the facilities could be in a little better repair, but it all worked. Didn’t feel unsafe in the facility.

The hotel lobby was dirty and smelled bad. This carried on to the room. The room was dirty and smelled like cigarette smoke. I would not recommend anyone staying here. The onsite parking was very limited and very tight to move a car in and out

They only authorized my credit card for the security deposit instead of actually processing a charge.

Location was good, easy to get to. Parking was available. Was noisy. Elevator was old and made me nervous.

Manager Ben was on his game. He noticed a bag we had left in the garage after checking in and took it into the office for safe keeping. His attentiveness saved us thousands as this was an electronics bag. I can't thank Ben enough for have the "awareness mindset" to keep his eyes on the property. The best to he and his family!

The room was stained, the faucet leaked every where when turned on. It was so stained I couldn't tell if it was clean or not.

A bit sparse furnishings.

The only thing good about this place is the free parking, assuming it doesn't get filled up. You get what you pay for, so don't expect too much from it. Rooms were average, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The bed in our room would tilt to one side. Definitely one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever encountered in any hotel or motel. Good location, but a little bit seedy due to the neighbourhood. Not sure if I would stay here again simply because of the uncomfortable bed.
