Hyatt Place San Jose/Downtown

The hotel was clean and staff was nice but the receptionist at the front desk told me parking was included in our bill but got billed $90 a few days later. I don’t appreciate being mislead and I think it reflects poorly on the hotel.

checking in was great, the staff was incredible. my room was clean and beautiful.

Very good morning breakfast

Room & internal of hotel were clean. Our issue was directly outside by the 15 minute parking, they had some homeless people doing drugs out in the open, not the hotels fault directly but maybe better security measures need to be taken to help minimize them hanging out there so much.

Clean room. Helpful staff. Parking was a little cumbersome. Free breakfast was descent but not much to write home about. Hey, what do you want? It’s free.

Convenience and clean.

Hyatt has tried to put lipstick on a pig with this one. Pictures look waaay better than the actual product. Hotel interiors are dated, carpets need replacement, check in staff were going through the motions, and the breakfast with that mass produced omelettes was absolutely pathetic.

The property was great. Everyone was super helpful specially since we booked last minute and the convenience of having their own parking garage that is self serve is perfect especially if you have your own car that you’re gonna be using while you’re there.

Staff was pleasant, clean rooms, delicious breakfast and a short work to San Pedro market. Overall great stay.

It was very clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was nice. Paying $45 a night for parking, the windows were in desperate need of cleaning, the walls and windows were thin. We could hear conversations in the hallway loud and clear and from the 6th floor we could hear music blasting from the cars passing below, word for word.

Easy check in which is a plus.

I have travelled many countries and been to the best hotels aswell but never got such a service. Really not satisfied with the service being provided. Even the sofa bed was not so good and didnt really provide a pleasant sleep.

I found the surrounding area is on the noisy side so I can hear the traffic late at night and very early morning.

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, everything was within a reasonable distance.

Onsite parking garage, breakfast was fresh, very clean, incredibly friendly staff

Parking garage is s a few and secure. Even fit my longbed diesel truck. Room was good, view of the street on the 4th floor. It had 2 beds and a couch. Plenty of plugs and even a white noise machine along with the clock.

The best Hotel in town

Clean Room, walking distance to the train station. Easy car ride to airport. Restaurant row was about a 10min seemed like a quiet and safe area. Construction next door.

great breakfast and amazing croissants

Well… good location. But staff are often missing at the front desk. Plus the facility need renovations.
