Property could use some TLC over all the room was clean. It worked for our Quiktrip.

Rooms were dirty. Stains all over the couch, bed linen, and towels. There was a hair tie left on the door knob with a handful of hair stuck to it. I was walking around in my socks inside the room and the bottom of my socks were black. Not clean whatsoever.

Paid extra for early check in but was not ready. Cleaning lady was still cleaning the room after 3pm. Room was dirty, floor was dirty, spider web hanging over the bed

So close to everything That it wasn’t free - just kidding - free is always great - but all was well
-
Good space in the room. Good location. Walkable food and close to HWY. Kitchen not stocked and doesn’t have a stove or oven. The restaurant onsite is permanently closed.

Location and price Well worn

The toilet seat was loose. Parking was available. No problem with parking. Breakfast was not good. Just individually packaged pastries like bear claw & apple strudels probably from a chain supermarket and no other options. No simple fruits, like bananas or apples. No bread at all. There were hot water & coffee on the coffee dispenser & a few tea bags. But was never refilled when it was gone at around 7am.

Old and dingy. No breakfast other than prepackaged honey buns and coffee.

Fine for 1 night. Not bad, not great. Needs new sheets, and the floor was dusty. Front desk was very nice and helpful.
-
nice clean remolded room, staff was very helpful and friendly needed a non-slip mat in the tube.... other than that, no real complaints

We had stayed here a couple of years ago. At that time, I didn't give it a good review. I did say this place had a lot of potential if it was better taken care. When we were planning our next trip to SLO, I noticed it had been taken over by Howard Johnson. Since we like the location, I reviewed pictures and decided to give it another try. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The grounds were well kept, and the room was completely remodeled and very nice. The staff was nice and friendly. If someone is looking for clean place to say with a good location at a reasonable price, I would recommend the Olive Tree In our room, it would have been nice to have a non-slip mat in the bathtub...but other than that no complaints

The manager Andy was great. he had his cleaning crew redo the room. and he was super pleasent. filthy. urine spots on the sheets. dirt. material on the side table that was white and powdery. There were clear issues all over that required completely new sheets and top. i have a video that would shock

Breakfast was false advertising…there was none. the bathroom had black mold, the room door wouldn’t shut because of weatherstripping coming off and one of the lights was broken hanging off the wall. The swimming pool had clumps of hair in the bottom. Hidden fees at checkout. Spend the same at a Best Western and get a much nicer stay. Sadly this was a mistake, next we will stay elsewhere

The room was clean and spacious, with a sink outside of the bathroom which is helpful when traveling with a roomie. The hotel had plenty of parking, but not sure if there was a working elevator. The area requires a car so not much walkability or things to do and see. That said, there was a wonderful cafe across the street called Cowgirl Cafe that had great omelettes, so that was a plus.

Location was fine. Older property, run down. The bathroom fixtures were broken, carpet looks unclean, ac didn’t really work.

The second room we were given had fresh bedding and towels, but was still bad. The bed was very uncomfortable. The floors were coming up so bad it would be impossible to clean them. Paint peeling on the walls. Etc. At 7:30 Sunday morning the office and breakfast area were still closed. Nobody around. If it wasn't graduation weekend with no rooms available in town, we would have left. For a $400+ room, I expected it to be at minimum clean. I wouldn't choose to stay here again if the rooms were free.

I really liked the back yard, we can see lot of trees, we can breathe a lot of fresh air!

Super busy weekend at SLO this was the only spot available. Room was spacious and comfortable but not clean, at all. The tile and hardwood had not been cleaned in what seemed liked forever out feet and shoes were black after walking on it. We were there for 4 nights and didn't receive any housekeeping.
