Staff was friendly. The young lady that helped us, appeared to be tired, but she was polite !

This was a nice inexpensive spot to stay the night halfway through our trip. It looked a little…run down, but they had great coffee, comfortable beds, good shower, nice soaps and helpful staff. We would stay here again. We would stay here again. Front desk woman was great.

•missing outlet covers*bathroom door didn’t stay shut or lock* all mattress were down to the spring and ver noisy and uncomfortable. Sensor light wouldn’t go off which made the living room area bright like day all night. Room reaked of old musty smell. Top sheet had 2 stains (clearly were not washed). Floors were filthy and under the beds looked like they hadn’t been swept under in years. For $590 for 2 nights this was ridiculous. Not to mention the trash was over flowing in all the outside trash cans over night. And parking was almost impossible. Andy the front desk clerk was rude and didn’t seem to mind that the office had a rancid smell. When I asked him about a discount for having to wait to check in he said what was he suppose to do his cleaning people had t got to our room. And I told him to honor his motel times or to offer a discount because we had just come for the beach and was tired and needed a shower and rest before dinner. All in all I won’t return again. It was not a clean and the beds were horrible. I recommend you spend your money elsewhere . Especially if you’re traveling with kids. This hotel Is. Er dingy and out of date.

Owner tries over charging fees that were already included. Will over charge on extended stays and will over charge for early check in. But everything else and other staff was good but this place will only get three stars from me for now.

Close to downtown, easy in and out, quiet, safe

I would not recommend this one to my friends. Staff was helpful and considerate. That is not the issue. It’s with the cleanliness of the room and property. The floor in our room was filthy, almost as if we wore socks on the blacktop. We did not go barefoot in our room. When we arrived there was a pile of trash near our room. Around the sink was not well cleaned after the previous stay, there was long hairs all over the counter as well as shaving stubble all across the counter as if someone had just shaven with an electric razor. The beds unfortunately were not comfortable, and they are on rolling bed frame, so if you were to lean against it in anyway, the beds would scoot across the room. We did not use the pool because when we walked over to see it, the pool was littered with what looked like sand all over the bottom of the pool.

I didn't expect to find a very dirty room with dirty floors. Dirty beds and bugs everywhere and food splattered on the walls currently dealing with Expedia to see if I can get a refund for the room. I ended up booking a room elsewhere. Because it was not only dirty but the room didn't feel safe because the entry door doesn't close correctly and because one of the suites led to a balcony, and it looked like there was a homeless encampment that led straight into the creek where the balcony faced. Creepy.

Loved that my whole family fit in one hotel room, but then my kids had their own room, my husband and baby and I had the other and my mom had the bed in the living room. It felt like a small apartment. Wish the mattresses were a bit firmer and quieter, you could hear and sometimes feel the springs when you moved. Loved the kitchen space and living space, we didn't feel crowded at all. The cleanliness could've been a bit better but it's understandable for an Inn. Overall we did like it though, and in fact we already booked our next stay there. Thank you Olive Tree!

We have stayed here numerous times over the years, even with previous ownership. It's convenient, we always appreciate the apartment with the fridge, sink, and hot plate when we are able.to get it and we like that it accommodates our family of six. Which is often so hard to find. Our general go to for SLO

It is very clean. I recommend it to people with limited budget.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms floors weren’t cleaned but other than that they were very clean; bedding was clean and the pool wasn’t clean, but also this is the coast so but overall it was an amazing stay! Amazing staff and an amazing experience.

It is OK for the price I would not pay more than that I see they’re charging $94 now that’s ridiculous for what she gets

Property could use some TLC over all the room was clean. It worked for our Quiktrip.
-
Rooms were dirty. Stains all over the couch, bed linen, and towels. There was a hair tie left on the door knob with a handful of hair stuck to it. I was walking around in my socks inside the room and the bottom of my socks were black. Not clean whatsoever.
-
Good space in the room. Good location. Walkable food and close to HWY. Kitchen not stocked and doesn’t have a stove or oven. The restaurant onsite is permanently closed.

The toilet seat was loose. Parking was available. No problem with parking. Breakfast was not good. Just individually packaged pastries like bear claw & apple strudels probably from a chain supermarket and no other options. No simple fruits, like bananas or apples. No bread at all. There were hot water & coffee on the coffee dispenser & a few tea bags. But was never refilled when it was gone at around 7am.
