Front desk was friendly. There were small roaches in the tub more than 1 night. The bathroom floor was dirty on arrival.

This is the best place to stay in all of SLO County.. I stay here twi E a week. Always competitive pricing, always clean, fully stocked, staff is helpful and accommodating. Always smells fresh.. I like when the AC is running when you enter the room leaving it cool and comfortable from the time you walk in. Great water pressure in the shower. Location is conveniently located right by the freeway. Gas station, Taco Bell, Jack N Box and other restaurants 2min walk. I can't say enough about this place.. I wouldn't stay anwayere else. The location Room 279 air conditioning was leaking water for the two nights we stayed for the first night I went to front desk and let the clerk know that it was water leaking from air conditioner,I got up and the middle of the night I did not notice all the water and I slept… clerk only offered towels.. I thought she was going to get me into another room, but it looked like the place was all booked…the morning We were checking out I asked clerk if it was any discount for not doing anything about it she said she couldn’t do anything, I asked who do I talk to and she gave me a business card with an email address from her boss and to email him so I did same day that was 8 days ago from today’s date (8/23/2026) and I haven’t received any response from her boss… I have two videos to prove it.. I payed almost 500 dollars to stay in this place Howard Johnson 1000 olive street San Luis Obispo.. I think it’s not right and appropriate to pay that much for a room like that…

Location and size of rooms Everything else. I actually had to go to the store to buy swifer pads and mop the floors myself. No lock on front door and people banging on our door at 2 am. So much more was aweful too.

stink from waterpipe, lots of mosquito in the room and cleanliness.

Location was good, Cleanliness of the remodeled room was good I was given an older room that had not been remodeled, beds were so uncomfortable and there was construction noise going on early in the morning in the rooms beneath me. I was going to check out early as I was so disappointed. The on-site person stated that I could move to a remodeled room and asked why wasn't that booked for me in the first place. Upon moving to the remodeled room the beds were still uncomfortable but not as the first.

Room was great, staff was super helpful but some things were kinda off about the room like cooler leaking, and shower having too much pressure and flooding other then that would stay again

Very clean and well kept room. Staff was very helpful, and very courteous.

Seriously, the coffee was the best part. Filthy floors, dirty microwave and refrigerator. Lamp falling off the wall. No working tv for two days.

Bed keeps making noise, chairs are stained, fridge has yellow stained and towels are dirty. So many homeless people wondering around outside the hotel. Staff are very unprofessional, manager told me to wait as soon I came in to check in at 5pm and told me room is not available. Upon checking out, I’ve waited along with other couple to be checked out for 15mins. Breakfast is already closed at 9.

The room was outdated men underwear were left in the room along with dirty trash the bed were super squeaky. Wouldn’t recommend
