Exceptional stay! We loved this spot! Great location walking distance to downtown. Everything was thoughtfully designed, rooms were very comfortable, breakfast & aperitif hour drinks and food were wonderful. Will definitely be back!

The room was large, clean, and well appointed and equipped. We had booked a queen room with a sofa bed for 3 adults, and they upgraded us to a suite with a king and a sofa bed. Beautiful and most enjoyable. The king bed was *very* confortable. They have a very peaceful court with tables and the inside area has traits of a Parisian bistro. There, they offer a complimentary apéritif between 5pm and 6pm with a tasty snack to come along a beverage - recommended to start the evening. The included breakfast is top notch as well. Their croissants are so authentic; I never had croissants so tasty outside of France. The hotel is located about 10min walk from downtown and its Thursday market. It has a private parking (complimentary). The entire staff was professional and friendly at the same time. Recommended. From now on, this will be the place we aim to stay at when in San Luis Obispo.

Great staff and great property. Had to change hotels because my son wanted a pool. Only inconvenience is that I wish they refunded my stay since I didn't stay the night. Would've been a great thing to do for a traveler with a family.

Little gem in the downtown of San Luis Obispo. We loved the room, amenities, happy hour and delicious breakfast. We will definitely be back.

Lovely stay in such a charming B&B

The best hotel in San Luis Obispo! I make sure to stay at least one night every time I visit. The location is amazing, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the staff is truly exceptional. One of the things I love most is seeing the same friendly faces year after year—they always make me feel so welcome. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else

Great little place and respite. But the staff truly stand out. For a small boutique hotel, top notch.

Lovely comfortable room. Comfy king bed, spacious room and large bathroom. Included breakfast was delicious with something for everyone, granola with fresh fruit and yogurt was my choice - my husband went for the pancakes which he loved. Walking distance to downtown takes about 15 minutes. Noise from construction project across the street could be annoying if you face the street and want to sleep in past 8. I would definitely stay here again the next time I need to stay in SLO. Great low key small boutique vibe, nice change from more corporate choices.

Great place loved the bunk beds for the kids.
-
The noise of the construction across the street was the only down fall everything else was fantastic!
-
Everything was on point!!! Perfect for anyone wanting to get away and decompress

The hotel was charming, the little happy hour with small treats and beverage at 5pm was lovely. The breakfast was so thoughtful and charming.

We loved everything about our brief stay at the Petit Soleil. Staff were welcoming, and attentive, the afternoon aperitif on the patio and morning breakfast was delightful, the room was gorgeous and clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We will be back!

Clean, well-decorated room and a nice breakfast experience. I found the room to be quiet, even though there was construction underway right across the street. Walking distance to downtown SLO. My only complaint is that it’s on a relatively busy corner and it can be a slight nuisance getting in and out of the parking lot. That was a minor issue though, and the experience overall was amazing!

Great place with french inspired themes. They have a great Mexican restaurant onsite as well. Worth the stop and worth the stay.

We loved our stay! It's super quaint and the complimentary happy hour was a really nice touch! We would definitely stay again.

Food and drinks were so good- perfect location for downtown, and free parking!

We have a recommend the place, amenities exceeded our expectations

Such a great property in such agreat part of SLO. All of the staff that I interacted with from the front desk to dining were 10/10 friendly and incredibly helpful every time. Breakfast was super tasty, man did those croissants smell good every morning! The in-room wifi was a little bit more on the frustratingly slow side of things but I’d still definitely stay at Petite again in the future.
