Petit Soleil

Very inviting

We loved everything about our brief stay at the Petit Soleil. Staff were welcoming, and attentive, the afternoon aperitif on the patio and morning breakfast was delightful, the room was gorgeous and clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We will be back!

Clean, well-decorated room and a nice breakfast experience. I found the room to be quiet, even though there was construction underway right across the street. Walking distance to downtown SLO. My only complaint is that it’s on a relatively busy corner and it can be a slight nuisance getting in and out of the parking lot. That was a minor issue though, and the experience overall was amazing!

Great place with french inspired themes. They have a great Mexican restaurant onsite as well. Worth the stop and worth the stay.

We loved our stay! It's super quaint and the complimentary happy hour was a really nice touch! We would definitely stay again.

Food and drinks were so good- perfect location for downtown, and free parking!

Such a great property in such agreat part of SLO. All of the staff that I interacted with from the front desk to dining were 10/10 friendly and incredibly helpful every time. Breakfast was super tasty, man did those croissants smell good every morning! The in-room wifi was a little bit more on the frustratingly slow side of things but I’d still definitely stay at Petite again in the future.

Great location, great breakfast

This inn is super charming and the staff were great. I loved the breakfast and happy hour that was included in the rate. Its on the edge of the cute downtown area so it was easily walkable for us. The only issue for us was that the guests above us were really loud. The inn is an old motel (with outdoor access to each room) so I don't think there's much soundproofing between floors. It sounded like the people upstairs were auditioning for River Dance. I know they were probably just walking normally but it was incredibly loud. I would recommend asking for a second floor room because of this issue.

In pictures the property looks very nice and clean, but in reality it's a whole mess. The parking is terrible; it's so small, and trying to get in and out is probably one of the worst experiences I had there. If you compare the price to what you are actually getting, this place sucks. They gave me a physical key for the room, and good luck trying to open the damn door; it's so inconvenient. Everything just felt so jammed together; I felt like I was in a tin can. If you want to stay here, don't and spend your money elsewhere!

Easy parking. Street noise: room 10, next to roadway with Saturday nite vroom vroomers. Would have been okay if we’d been told ahead of time … and offered alternatives or discounts. But a sleepless nite at $440+, is not cool.

Best boutique hotel in San Luis Obispo. Staff and manager are excellent. Great experience for my daughters and friends. Petit Soleil is a must-stay hotel.

Such a cute place with the friendliest staff. The cocktail hour and breakfast were first class.

Comfortable bed!

The entire stay was amazing. We loved the breakfast every morning, enjoyed a glass of wine and food in the evening and the staff was exceptional! The patio areas were great to sit out. the rooms were comfortable and the little extra touches with amenities, beverages, snacks was very nice. The matresses could have been a little more comfortable

It seemed I was back in the French countryside.

Walking distance to downtown. Parking provided next to hotel. Room was decorated in the French ambience and decor. Would definitely book this B&B again. There is nothing I didn't like.
