Villa Motel

It looked like a decent place in a decent location, but they gave away our room. We arrived at 11 PM after a long drive with a confirmation email only to be told that we did not have a room and that the last one had been given to somebody else. The person on staff made it seem like we had done something wrong when in fact, we had made a reservation and gotten a confirmation so clearly it was something they screwed up on their end.

Decent family-run motel. Nothing in particular

Location Very old, unkept and needs lots of work and remodeling. Way over priced for the condition of the property. I realize that it was priced higher because of the graduation weekend, but considerably overpriced for zero amenities.

Staff was extremely helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. They also let me check out at noon instead of 11 am which made a world of difference. Thank you! Also I loved the microwave and mini fridge. :D

No frills motel 15 min walk from downtown slo. Rooms are quite dated, but everything was cleaned well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Area felt safe.

Older property with large rooms. Very convenient to college, downtown, and freeway.

Great location All was good

A charming old motel on the main motel strip—this is a great no-frills option for a weekend stay in SLO. The check-in and check-out process was super easy, and Debra was very kind and friendly upon our arrival. The location is great for walking into downtown while also being right off the freeway. While simple, the room had everything we needed for our stay. Also, the cabin-style wood ceiling gave the room a very cozy feel which we loved. The room is a bit run down, particularly the bed/bathroom had some decent wear on them (bedframe peeling off for example). But overall still very functional and clean, just may need some upgrading soon.
