La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Luis Obispo Downtown

Great location, comfy beds and nice breakfast. The pool was rather tiny and just fit for small, very young kids.

Always good here. Check in staff super friendly and helpful. Clean, quiet and safe. A very spacious room, nice pool area and a delicious hot breakfast.

Well located, modern and spacious - we had a suite for 3 of us. Breakfast was good and there was always coffee available in the lobby. We had a balcony though during much of the day it was too hot to use since there was no shade - a parasol would have been great. Same for the small rooftop pool area - so we didn’t use this. There is a fridge, coffee machine and microwave in the room, with disposable cups but no glasses or plates/bowls which would have been useful to have. However, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Would go again and stay there was wonderful. Had a good time. Breakfast was good. The hot tub and the pool was wonderful.

I also appreciated that the hotel is pet-friendly. However, the designated pet relief area is quite small, so we ended up walking across the street where my dog had more space to go potty.

After 2 weeks long of driving through California and jumping around to hotels, this hotel was one of several well-known options in SLO. The other options were notably more expensive. If you’re looking for an elevated experience, great rooms and amenities and save a little money, this is the place! This hotel is beautiful, not your standard “La Quinta”- very elevated with unique architecture and decor. Another VERY notable item to mention is how comfortable the beds were, as well as the quality of the linens! I slept better there than I’ve slept throughout several other stops. 5-stars!

The carpets were so dirty it was gross

Very clean, quiet, nice rooftop pool & jacuzzi with beautiful sunsets! Breakfast was great! Staff was very friendly.

Close to Cal Poly SLO campus and downtown.

Staff was excellent but the suites are next to the elevator which makes it super noisy if you need to sleep early. Our neighbors that night were loud in and out of room especially when they had 2 little dogs in the room. I didn't know the hotel allowed dogs. Suites should be on the quiet side of the property and I would've moved if I knew dogs were allowed.

We’ve taken our dog before, so that’s a plus. There’s a restaurant with a small bar right nextdoor. Overall, a good place to stay and some places I would recommend!

Great stay…comfortable beds, nice breakfast, walking distance to town and Cal Poly SLO. Would definitely choose to stay here again!

Conveniently located

Super clean rooms, very attentive staff, great breakfast and quiet. The pool is very small and will be taken up by 1 family of 4 or 5 with no room for more people. We will stay here again if in the area. We loved it!
