The staff was super friendly during our stay. Everything was clean. I would’ve like more towel hooks and closet hangers. Also, the shower pressure was pretty weak in our room. We enjoyed taking the trolley that drives on Monterey!

The first thing we noticed was how clean the room was! We were shocked with how beautiful the room was plus it’s all renovated so it looks modern. I recommend staying here plus it’s close to downtown slo

Parking can be tight in busy times

Check in was just ok. No friendly welcome or interaction. Just transactional.

The room was ok but the mattress was terrible with scratchy sheets. The coffee pot did not work, no iron in the room and the bathroom is tiny. The toilet is way too close to the wall & the Toilet paper dispenser is oddly placed & you end up hitting your arm Everytime you move or try to reach for TP. Boyfriend had 3 bruises from the metal dispenser. Also, there is nowhere to put your toiletries, razor, sponge, in the shower.

Clean room. Convenient.

Elleana was especially helpful. I was arriving late, so I called ahead to let them know I'd be checking in after the 10:00 PM office closing time. She explained that the office would be closed, but I could retrieve my room key from the security lockbox. She texted me the passcode, explained the current parking situation, and even let me know what my options were if the designated parking was full. At checkout, she also gave us a few recommendations on places to visit around town. She was friendly, welcoming, and made the entire experience much smoother. There were only a couple of issues that kept this from being a five-star stay. Although the room itself was clean, there was a strong foul odor coming from the air conditioner as soon as we turned it on, it smelled like urine. Because of that, we ended up turning the A/C off and sleeping without it. Also, the room didn't have a hair dryer. I'm not sure if guests are expected to request one from the front desk, but if that's the case, it would have been helpful if that had been mentioned during check-in. Despite those minor issues, we enjoyed our stay, appreciated the excellent service from Elleana, and would consider staying here again.

Great room and friendly staff. Asked for the room to be cleaned before I left and when I came back we had fresh bedding and towels! Honestly great experience!

Small space

I could not believe it! she felt my dissapointment and was willing to fix MY mistake. I can't say anything but praise for Alex, that went beyond my expectations, and Elena or Lena put the ribbon on the cake the next day. She handed me the room. These ladies are an asset, give them a raise! 😆. They keep the customers happy. I will definitely stay again. I'll make sure my reservation is booked correctly though before paying. 😁😁 Praise to these 2 ladies.
