Apple Farm

I stayed here passing through SLO on the way up to Big Sur, and it was perfectly fine, if a bit run down. There are a lot of buildings, but the one I stayed in could use a little bit of upkeep. For instance, the chair in the room had stains on it (not that I was using it), but the bed was fine. the TV kinda folded out from the wall, etc. it was all very...old school and provided a solid one night stay.

Super clean, outstanding and accommodating staff. Great value. Loved this plate.

Nice and clean, and my wife loves that they always have cookies at the front desk, but could tell they were not homemade and a little disappointed.

There is coffee and tea 24/7 in the lobby, but don't expect a coffee maker in your room. The rooms are quaint and the decor of the Apple Farm is very cute retro. There is no provided breakfast, but they have a restaurant and there are some very good brunch places in town such as Sally Loo's. The office staff was helpful, but our key didn't work the first time.

I have never seen a crazier way to try to utilize a television. I had never even heard of screen mirroring and the buttons that the instructions said to use on the remote did not exist. When I asked at the desk about it I was told that the person there didn't know how to do it either. Watching TV doesn't make or break a vacation, but if it's something that's kind of expected as an evening activity, you might want to look elsewhere.

Excellent and friendly staff. Room nicely laid out. The landscape makes the Apple Farm feel inviting and has an "Old Time" feel. The Apple Farm Restaurant has a great breakfast and lunch menu. Food was very good. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Room was nice. Fair price. Service was great. Restaurant was disappointing! It use to be amazing, with locals lining up the weekend. Menu changed, very limited. Prices too high. Question if they even make their own pastries anymore.

One of the best hotels that actually look like what it is in the photos. Great staff, pool, clean rooms, free cookies and apple cider on arrival.

Very comfy, large room. Had a relaxing stay while visiting my son at Cal Poly. Super convenient location.

It was a bueatiful old house. Was able to walk to nice restaurant for dinner. The people were very nice and helpful.

It was a lovely hotel to spend a night. Nice pool, pretty grounds, complimentary wine tasting. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

1. Staff were not overly friendly or welcoming. Just average. It never felt like anyone went above and beyond for any reason. Hospitality should never be just a job. 2. Coffee was appreciated by one of us, and we never tried the complimentary wine as we do not drink. When asked if there was another beverage option, we were told water. Ha! Hardly an equal trade. 3. Total extra amenity charge of $50 for two nights. $30 parking in a tiny lot clearly not designed for today’s vehicles. Not sure what the extra $20 amenity charge was for, I believe the pool and coffee? Daily cookies were offered too. We never saw the pool. The king room was spacious for two and clean, minus a stray hair or two left behind in the restroom. I liked the decor and the bed was comfortable. I did not like the loud footsteps of a child running above my ceiling. Will have to try another hotel next time we’re in the area.

Quaint little hotel! Room was big and very comfortable. Very conveniently located. Look forward to staying here again.
