Every time we travel to SoCal by car, we make it a point to stop at the Apple Farm. They're hotel and restaurant were always something we looked forward to. This time was different. The hotel is still the same (great service and great rooms), but the restaurant has gone downhill. It's under new management and all the charm is lost. No more pies, no more cute trinkets and overcooked underwhelming food. That hometown feel has been replaced with corporate sameness. Go for the hotel and skip the restaurant.

The biggest downside during our stay was the Wi-Fi. None of our three devices could stay connected for more than about 10 seconds. We contacted the front desk, and they acknowledged that this is a known issue. We were staying at the end of the building, so it's possible our location contributed to the problem, but we can't say for sure. If you're traveling for leisure and reliable Wi-Fi isn't a priority, this hotel has a lot to offer. However, if you need a dependable internet connection for work or business, you may want to consider another property.

Very cute and cozy. Country charm at its best.

I love this place! My second stay! Great room for last minute booking #214

Service could have been better. For one, the lady who checked us in seemed tired and just over her job. She didn't tell us about any of the amenities. We went to the pool assuming we could use the room key to access it as is typical. But no, we needed a code and had to go fetch it from grumpy pants. Finally and most egregious of all, the hot tub wasn't hot. I booked this hotel specifically because it was one of the few places in the area with a spa. We had been hiking and walking and really wanted to unwide and relax our muscles in the hot tub. That was very annoying.

Very nice room/hotel for the price.

Easy to get to location off Hwy 101. Also the front desk receptionist gave us a 10% off coupon for a dinner place (1865 was the restaurant)- we used it and it was excellent! And the bed and pillows were comfy. Had a ground floor room at the end of a two story building and we could hear people walking up and down the outside stairs and in the room above off and on all night

This lovely gem of an Inn far exceeded our expectations.
-
Adorable property, staff was super helpful. We got in early and had a late flight and they were more than happy to store our luggage while we walked around town. Fairly easy walks to Cal Poly and the downtown area. N/A

Love staying here! Cozy room, cute furnishings & kind front office staff :)

Beautiful property. Landscaping was well manicured. The checkin staff was very friendly, and the coffee and apple cider was delicious. We only had a queen bed, so that was a little cramped. Asked for a late check out (noon instead of 11) and was told that would cost an extra $50. THe cost of the room was expensive as it is ($350 for one night.)

No restaurant in afternoon/dinner

Great experience! The staff was so nice and provided complementary homemade cookies and apple cider. The inn also had a free wine tasting in the evening that my boyfriend and I enjoyed.

lovely, nice areas on property for relaxation. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

But the room (#18 in the Trellis Court Building) was extremely small. The bathroom sink also needs an aerator. Be ready for a lot of backsplash when you turn on the water.
