Very clean property and friendly staff

Quick visit to SLO. We used the beach cruisers to ride 10 minutes away to dinner, which was perfect. The room was great, very comfortable and what a treat to wake up to freshly baked croissants and muffins delivered to our door!

For a solo traveler visiting SLO for 2 nights, this lodge was a perfect 10! The room was comfortable, modern, and well-designed. This property exceeded my expectations in every way, and I will return for sure. Excellent location in a very walkable city, and just a 20 minute drive from Morro Bay for a beautiful walk along the wild Pacific coastline. The staff were super courteous, check-in/out was a breeze, and the breakfast was perfect (hot coffee delivered to your door with pastries, c’mon now!)

The lodge is located at the end of the downtown. The facility is clean and updated and the room is very spacious. They deliver the croissants and coffee in the morning. The staffs are very kind and friendly. The in room refrigerator is full of cans, no space for our own staffs. The in room coffee can be better with more choice of coffee creamer.

Absolutely loved staying here! Friendly staff, beautiful room, and the amenities were such a nice touch. Will happily drive six hours again to stay here.

The internet was not working for half the time

Beautiful clean room. Very quiet. Great breakfast. Wi-Fi connection . The bathroom was a great size for two people. Great ports for all technology. Free parking! A pet peeve of mine I hate it when you have to pay for parking. I stayed here several years ago and the quality is the same as it is in 2026.

It’s a bit run down.. cute aesthetic but the bathroom in our room didn’t feel or smell clean. I like the fun touches but the over soft bed, 1/2 filled amenities, stained carpet wasn’t my favorite… it’s just an ok place

Roomy, pet was fine. The bed was comfortable. The morning croissant and coffee was a nice in-room touch. With pet, etc... the autosensor lights were a bit annoying. Also, for people with pets, being able to keep the bathroom door open (autocloser) would be nice... and safer for the dog.

We love this hotel! It was my second stay and it did not disappoint. The staff is extremely friendly and engaging. And problem solving when our ac did not work immediately. We got great recommendations for dinner and drinks. Love the morning breakfast delivery to the door and homemade caramels. These small touches speak volumes. Will definitely stay again.

San Luis Creek Lodge is a perfect get away/weekend location to enjoy SLO and the surrounding Central Coast. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. And, the morning pastries and coffee service was delightful. We had a fun time exploring SLO on the San Luis Creek bikes, compliments of the lodge.

Location is convenient , just a few blocks off freeway exit. Parking was a little awkward.

I come to San Luis Obispo a lot. I've tried to stay at different hotels to try and find my favorite… I really really enjoyed this hotel. I love the coffee and pastries on your door in the morning and the cleanliness of the property and the bathroom toiletries are amazing. My only complaint is that you do not have robes available. I think a solution would be have some robes if a guest ask for them you can bring them. I understand the cost involved of providing grubs to every guest, but it is such a nice touch.

Clean little slice of property. Parking could be a concern for others in a bigger vehicle, but it was perfect for us and the facilities were clean, spacious, and didn’t feel cheap!
