We got coffee and a freshly baked breakfast treat delivered every morning and the mini bar gives you access to whatever you might need. Staff was very responsive to all our needs. You also have access to a gym nearby if fitness is on your agenda. We’ve been traveling a-lot lately and this place is one of our top 5 of favorite places to stay. Would stay here again! Thank you staff!

Beautiful property with very nice accommodations. It felt like I was at a spa. And the girl at the front desk was very sweet and helpful.

We were a very late arrival and Mae welcomed us warmly and provided helpful information about our stay and visit to SLO. The room is incredibly clean and comfortable and the shower truly the best water pressure ever. Morning coffee and pastries was a welcome add and we left well rested, fed and with a keen desire to return. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The staff was friendly and the room was very clean and super cute decor! The AC was loud and could hear some noise from the other guests. Overall, it was a nice stay!

The room had quite a few pantry pest bugs flying around. I called shortly after check-in to share this information. I left a voicemail and don't believe I ever heard back from anyone. I think it's possible the pests could be living on/in the mat/rug on the floor. I'm not a pest expert. It's possible that some flew in when I tried to open the window. I could only open the window an 8th of an inch, and when I saw the bugs, I quickly closed it just in case that's where they were coming from. I wasn't overwhelmingly assaulted by the bugs my entire stay. Just a few more. I killed a total of about 8 and hope I didn't bring any home in my luggage. The mat/rug in my room was clearly dirty. This did not make me feel great about walking around barefoot. The bed had a sunken space on both sides. It wasn't terrible, but it was there, and the mattress was not foam, and it did not feel like springs. I've had better support in other places I've stayed. I usually don't even notice the mattress, but here I did. In midlife, I find a clean space and a comfortable bed are a must. The things that could be cleaned were, but the rug was hard to look at.

Like a little piece of Europe in california

We liked this little inn, only here for one night. Clean, comfortable. Decent place to stay for 1 night.

It is not especially close to the main downtown area, but that was a minor tradeoff for such a comfortable and welcoming stay. I would happily stay here again.

The hotel was fine, but the A/C in the room did not work. Staff at front desk said they would try and get it fixed tomorrow, which doesn't help when only staying one night. Asked to move to a room with working A/C, told this wasn't possible and also told that it's a cool night so just open the windows.

I love this place. So cute and clean and reasonable priced! A little distance from downtown but nothing is really that far. My favorite part is the fresh coffee and pastries delivered to your door every morning. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful serene hotel very close to cal poly SLO. We enjoyed the Aesop amenities!

The staff was very welcoming and room was spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise. The only thing we’d change is adding black-out curtains because the sunrise is rather bright through the shutters.

It was very clean and well maintained.

We really loved our experience here. We only stayed one night, but it was quiet and very comfortable.

Truthfully this is a nice little motel off the highway that has been updated. No pool, not even an outdoor sitting area. Just a room with no view except a parking lot and building accross. Sadly Michelin has started ratings and creates totally false expectations of what this motel is not. Staff, one girl is very nice. Windows do not open. Not walking distance to shops etc. it’s just an overpriced simple motel room nicely decorated. Don’t expect anything more at all. When we went to our room I saw another couple opening there door amazed as well. They two were duped by the Michelin rating.

Cute! Loved the coffee and pastries they delivered in the morning.

This is a nice, convenient property. I’ve stayed in this property with the prior ownership, as well. The finishes are nice. The coffee pot and “coffee pods” were ridiculous. The hours of the registration office are inconvenient, opening at 730am. They had coffee & tea in the lobby along with a really odd type of alcohol. Like a cream based Amaretto or something. If you’re going cream based, why not Baileys? Formerly, they had a sit down breakfast. Now, they deliver a thermos without creams of any sort and a pastry in a bag without silverware which were flaky and messy to eat in the car. I’m really surprised they were awarded a Michelin star, but good for them!

Everything was great except the quality of toilet paper
