Perfect spot for a one or two night stay. The rooms are dated but very clean. The beds are comfy, parking is FREE (so rare these days) and the staff were very friendly. Would stay here again if I'm ever passing through SLO again.

The position was great with a heap of restaurants just down the road. Rooms were clean and huge.
-
Decent and spacious. Good value for cost. Not too loud even though it was close to roads.

The property is old, but we really enjoyed our stay there. Jessica at the front desk was extremely helpful and the coffee was great. The location is excellent. We would definitely stay there again

I checked in on Tuesday July 21st for a three-day business stay. The front desk person was helpful but the room the I was given was 209 and the inside panic slide lock was keeping the door from being opened. I went back to the front desk, and they issued me a new room in 301. When I entered the room, it smelled really bad and the kitchenette the was in the room smelled like rotten food or something spoiled. I opened all the windows and turned on the air conditioner to air out the room. It got better. Then on Wednesday night as I was in my room another customer walked into my room, I said wrong room to the person. Then the front desk called to ask my name? The front desk person did not have me in the room 301 and said they would fix it for me. Thursday morning as I was leaving for my classes at Cal Poly - SLO at 7:30am (classes are 8:00am-5:00PM) I noticed trying to re-enter my room my key card no longer worked. I went to the front desk, and NOBODY was there and then I nice lady said that nobody here until 9:00am. So, I was stuck going to class after forgetting my name badge in my locked room. Thursday after class I returned to the front desk and had to wait almost an hour just to be able to have my key card re-entered so I could go back into my room. The front desk staff was very friendly and the person on Thursday at 4:30-5:00pm was super friendly and so helpful for the issues I was having. Sorry for complaining but I felt this issue needed to be addressed.

Our stay was amazing. The staff took care of us and made us feel welcome

Great location to downtown, CalPoly and hwy 101. Walking distance to great coffee shops. Quiet and clean room. Fridge and breakfast was plus. Definitely will stay there in the future.

Check in was pleasant. Reception was quite helpful

The staff were great! I loved their customer service and promptly tuning into my requests with ease. Their location close downtown was great! A 15min walk by other eateries and libations.

The bathrooms were old, shower curtains, torn in places, vents pretty linty. Carpets did not feel very clean. Beds were very comfortable, air conditioning unit was loud. It was useful to have a fridge in microwave and a coffee maker in the room. It’s nice to have an extra sink in the hallway to brush your teeth. Overall, a good size room and fair value for the money.

1 treadmill is apparently a fitness room.

I liked the tables outside, near the lobby. Nice garden area.

Great value for price, extremely large room with refrigerator and kitchenette. Free coffee and tea all day although I had to ask for hot water because the carafe was not hot. Breakfast was grab and go of packaged pastries, but coffee was decent. Excellent customer service. Be aware that given the location of the hotel, some of the rooms do face the 101 freeway and get some of the residual noise from it but it’s not a dealbreaker. The only concern was that the room appeared to not be well cleaned. We found some used eyelashes in front of the bathroom sink. Given the obvious location of the eyelashes, it’s amazing that the cleaner did not find it. Sidenote: we found the other side eyelash on the second floor outside of the elevator. lol

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There was some kids making noise at the pool below. “Breakfast “ was not really a breakfast at all. If you want a decent breakfast, don’t go here.

We were upgraded to a superior room. I didn't see it very superior. The power plug beside the bed did not work. The place seemed dated and shabby. The breakfast was very sparse compared to other places. Our son had a room over the street. It. was much nicer. It certainly needed. updating.

The room was huge! I highly recommend for parents bringing their kids to college.
