It is also located next to the freeway, which does not show in any photos. The rooms were overpriced and noisy, and I could not sleep well.

The room was clean and nice. The shower was big. Only thing I didn’t like was that the hallway was musty smell when I got off the elevator. Other than that, everything was good!

Renovated rooms and lobby were great, freeway noise was a negative, location and breakfast were good, staff was friendly.

I’ve been to a handful of hotels the past weeks, and this one ranked high on my list. The staff was not only friendly, but accommodating. Guest services/house keeping were conscientious. The two gentlemen and young lady who accommodated our needs were not begrudging or rude, but upbeat, courteous and helpful. The amenities were great and everything was very clean. La Cuesta Inn is doing a lot right and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

This was a horrible hotel. The person at the front desk was rude and not helpful. Our room was dirty and smelled. The breakfast was very limited and crowded. Will not be staying here again and have recommended our friends not stay here either.

The customer service from the first receptionist was excellent, but I cannot say the same thing from the guy that was at the front desk on the day we check out. Other than that everything else was good.

Very clean room. Super comfy beds and pillows. Staff was very friendly at check in and told us about the farmers market that would be happening that evening. Close location to downtown and Cal Poly.
