Jerry was so nice and was able to let us check in a little earlier than expected to accommodate our plans for the day! We appreciate you Jerry and the staff on site were so lovely!

The Sunbeam is a bit basic but the price was right and it more than met our needs for a quick overnight stop on a roadtrip up the coast. We arrived late, after the office was closed, but management put our room key in a lockbox and sent instructions for accessing it. Great location an easy walk to restaurants and coffee. When our 5yo son locked us out of the room while we were loading up to leave at checkout, there wasn't anyone in the office to help. I reached out to management and they came over right away, but it was about a 20 minute wait. Parking is pretty limited.

I liked the feel of an Air B&B.

Convenient location and easy to get to. Room was simple but clean and fine for a night's sleep.

Excellent location. Staff could not have been nicer. Our room was very small and clean... and the queen sized bed was a comfortable enough. Traffic noise may be an issue for some travelers. Traffic noise. Room size was workable, but tight.

Beds were super comfy (I'm picky and was worried lol), the room was spacious, and Jerry the owner/manager was awesome! Pillows were just okay - we brought our own so NBD. We were just staying one night as a passover stop along our trip home but got to enjoy the SLO farmer's market and bars/restaurants with just a couple minutes drive! It's nothing fancy but we just wanted a decent place to stay at the end of our trip - didn't want to skimp too much but also not trying to pay hundreds for just one night. I highly recommend this place for a no frills stay in a beautiful town in a central location. Can't beat it!

The location is very good, especially if you wish to take in the sites of Downtown San Luis Obispo. The property has two entrance/exits (one on each street that parallels the small property) and this makes it easier to arrive at the location. The sound-proofing between rooms/outside corridor is not perfect. We were in a bottom floor room and could hear the people above us walking around. This may be caused by the fact that the flooring is faux hardwood and not carpet. I like the no carpet aspect but, extra insulation needs to be added to assist with blocking sounds. We could also hear the conversation of the people standing outside out room/in the doorway of the room right next to us.

Na Pillows were horrible need to trash pillows, upgrade needed

I was exhausted when I arrived and had to wait almost 15 mins for someone to check me in. I called three times, knocked on the door and then finally yelled to get someones attention. The AC didn't work well.

Location Room has no daylight, AC literally over the bed headboard.

The location was perfect and all shops and restaurants walkable. We ate at Lure which was about a five min walk. The motel was clean, the water pressure was amazing and the room was charming. It came equipped with a mini fridge/freezer, a microwave and a coffee maker. All that and still super affordable! Jerry checked us in and was extremely efficient, professional and friendly!

Staff were super nice! Will stay here again!
