Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Marcos Outlet Malls

This hotel needs to be removed from the site. It is terrible on every level. The entire place is falling apart. From the moment you enter the hallways, you will see that the walls have large areas that are completely different colors and are in desperate need of repainting. We checked in after being at the river all day. My kids wanted to jump in the pool for a bit so we went straight there. When we were done we went up to shower before heading out for dinner. We did not touch the beds until we had showered. At which point my daughters puled back the sheets and saw large brown, blood like stains on the sheets. My wife then observed a large, sticky puddle by the nightstand between the two beds. At this point we realized that this was not where we would be sleeping for the night as there were far too many concerns regarding room cleanliness and I would not risk exposing my wife or children to this. We packed up, went to the front desk and informed them of the state of the room. The desk agent asked to go see the issues and did not offer any resolution. We stated we would need to be refunded for the night but he said that would have to be initiated by hotels.com. We left and reached out to them immediately. They contacted the hotel who then stated that we had used the room so this would have to go to management. After a weeks worth of trying to contact them, they finally offered us a $50 refund. Avoid this place unless you want to risk getting an std from the bedding.

Key card did not work most of the time.

DON'T! JUST DON'T! Front desk annoyed we are even there. Hallway hot, smelly, and sticky. Patches of paint everywhere on walls and holes in the walls. Room: dead wolf spider on floor, bug feces in between sheets, blood dots on sheets, dirty and sticky floors. We couldnt take our shoes off for fear of what might end up on the bottom of our feet. Pubic hairs on bathroom floor. Restless night thinking of what bugs we were going to wake up to in our bed. Was a horrible and dirty hotel. Took one peek into the breakfast area and knew i wanted nothing to do with food in this place. Only positive thing I can say about this place is the TV and ac worked and the shower was ok. I would never stay here again and frankly I think I am done with the Wyndham brand.

Had trouble getting in as the outside door access kept messing up. Would have to go through hotel. Clean room!

The room was clean and ac was super cold. The floor was getting wet or something. Next door they were working on the toilet and the water might have gotten to my room. Overall was nice for the price.

The water in the pool looked dirty. To be honest, I wouldn't make a reservation at that place again.

I will never stay here again! The breakfast was trash, the pool had no lights and no water filter system, the carpet is filthy, the was hair in our bathroom, the list goes on… I have photos! I do not recommend

At the pool, there was a couple drinking beer from glass bottles while I was there with my three kids. In the gym, the weight machine was missing some parts, so it couldn't be use. Everthing else was fine

Will stay again very pleased

Rooms and hallways had shabby carpet and lots of places that were unevenly painted (big spots of white where objects and furniture clearly used to be. However, the room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was awful—cold cereal, make yourself waffles, and stale bagels. Coffee had grounds in it. No fruit, yogurt, eggs or any kind—all of which I’ve frequently had even at budget hotels. The hotel was adequate for our needs because we basically just slept in the room. I probably wouldn’t stay again though.

Loved the room and the staff was super helpful.

The hotel was very clean I didn’t see any dirt when I wiped the room down, floors are hardwood and clean. Front receptionist was so kind and full of advice of the area.
