Holiday Inn Express and Suites San Marcos South by IHG

We only stayed 1 night, visiting our son at Texas State. Would definitely choose this hotel again! Clean room, comfortable bed & great location for shopping and restaurants!

Hot Tub was very refreshing

The outlets next to the bed did not work on either side. The room was also dirty. I could tell the room had not been cleaned thoroughly prior to my arrival. Also, there was no laundry bag in the room. I also purchased some snacks at the kiosk. I needed a receipt but the kiosk did not produce one. The hotel advised me that I would have to contact the kiosk company to get a receipt. Usually, I have good experiences at Holiday Inns. However, I will not be returning to this location again.

Clean room, Breakfast,packing

Breakfast was great! So many options and fresh. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. There was a little shopping center next door. Was very convenient.

There’s no curtains. Just a thin pull down shade. We were on the first floor so at night every cat headlight peered into the room. And it was so bright by 7am. BRING FULL COVERAGE EYE MASKS

The front desk staff greeted us with a smile and our room was sooo clean with a beautiful view! And the room smelled WONDERFUL! It has been a very long time since I’ve entered a hotel room that smelled great and the bed was so inviting! We will be back!
