Holiday Inn Express and Suites San Marcos South by IHG

Great quick stay. Front desk staff could have been a little more kind but other than that no complaints

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great. The AC in my room didn’t work well and they weren’t able to move me the first night because it was sold out, however the next day they moved me and all was good.

Great breakfast and AC. Problems getting towels consistently and a slow draining sink was an issue that was reported but never resolved. Very helpful staff.

Not gonna lie. Ac hit 65. I slept great. Definitely coming back

My stay was great; however, the reason for the visit was to testify in a trial for work. The trial was reset which is not in my control. I checked out early and was still charged for the 2nd night. I was not informed this would happen for an early checkout and have reached out to the hotel to refund the charge but was met with refusal. I am tryuly disappointed.

Clean room

The room was supposedly a non smoking room yet smelled horribly like smoke, talked to someone at front desk and was told all room were sold out so they couldn’t swap me rooms. Not even going to target for an odor neutralizer helped out

How close it was to all the needed places we needed to go There was ants in the chairs at the breakfast area, elevator was falling apart, room was not that clean, halfway to the room was HOT, tv was constantly on the fritz and breakfast was not that good and also most of the charging ports were not working. . Not worth 600 dollars

The guy at the check in desk was supper nice and make us feel so welcome. The room was clean. The only complaint is the juice and waffle/pancake maker was broke.. but there was juice in the refrigerator I found out later.

Room smelled bad like mildew, mattress had horrible stains. Not what we are used with a Holiday Inn Express. Would not stay here again.

Our room appeared clean but noticed someone else’s trash was still in the bin. Not a huge deal because everything else appeared clean. Front desk staff was half asleep and we had to reset our key fob 4x…not sure why. Disappointed that we came back to our room to find housekeeping did not bother making beds or giving us fresh towels. Kinda a bummer.

The cook at this hotel made a great breakfast- the best I've had at a Holiday Inn Express in years.
