Hair in the bathtub/shower - not cleaned well. Dead bugs in the light fixture. Mold in the bathroom. Toilet seat was worn to the point the paint was coming off. Parking is very tight for larger vehicles and SUVs. On a positive - The staff were very friendly. This hotel appears that it was very nice at one time, but the wear is showing and the upkeep is not professional. It ranks as a medium to low in quality but with a premium price especially on a weekend.

It’s ok
-
The towels had hairs on them and the bathroom was not the cleanest (walls were very dirty)

The room was great, but good luck getting ahold of anyone at the front desk. The number on their website was never answered. I had to wait for someone to come to the desk to get checked in and there was no one at the desk when I went to check out. Their app for digital checkout wasn’t working.

Everything was ok.

Pool was closed

My room had a smell i didn’t feel like it was fully clean because of it. I stayed for one night so i didn’t make a big deal about it but feel like it was not worth the price at all. Rooms are very outdated

All of the appliances that were in the room were clean. The bathroom was clean with fresh towels. The front desk lady that checked me in was very polite. Also there was space for my dog to use the bathroom. If you have a family and dog I would recommend this place.

Concierge very helpful

Pool was not working and my kids wanted to swim. One small ice machine for the whole hotel. Internet was in & out. The location was a little tricky to get to. Parking lot was very dark.

Our room key didn't work so had to get new keys 3 times. Hallway had a weird smell and had stains on carpet. The door to our room was dirty (inside and out). Elevator inspection that was posted was past due. The check in girl was very nice at least.

I would not be staying at this hotel ever again everything is out of order they seem to not have a phone to answer customers I was calling since Tuesday to let them know I was arriving later for check in and no one answered the phone when I showed up Friday it was a long wait elevator is super slow the tv was not working the pool was out of order when we arrived to our room it had a very strange smell so I had to go buy Lysol to disinfect and clean my own room and I got charged full price..

The hotel was clean, close to several stores and restaurants, and parking was easily accessible. I was looking forward to going to the pool, but it was out of order. We checked in at 5 pm, noticed that the AC was set on 65, but was not very cool. We set it at 62 (the lowest it would go) and left for dinner, hoping for the best. When we returned, the room was barely cool. I spoke to the person at the front desk to see if we could switch rooms, but since it was a holiday weekend, they were booked and had nothing else available. I asked for a refund, so we could go stay somewhere else, but she said that only a manager is authorized to do so. I did a live chat with someone from IHG and they said that someone would reach out to me ASAP. I never heard from anyone and did not get refunded.

Friendly staff, close to the highway and near gas stations and restaurants. My go to place in San Marcos.

The front desk are extremely friendly, warm and welcoming. The housekeeping could’ve been better: floors mopped and vacuumed on grounds and vacuumed in rooms.
