Comfort Inn & Suites San Marcos near Outlet Mall

I’ve stayed in several hotels where they have a breakfast buffet,but this one was the worse. In every hotel that I have stayed there has always been someone keeping up with the cleanliness of the breakfast area. This one was a total mess food thrown all over the floor counters full of food. I know the adults staying there should be the ones picking up after themselves, but of course that’s not the case here. Then to top all this off I paid for my booking in advance and I kept getting calls when am I paying for my second night. Well they had 3 guests with the same name but different last name so just caused lots of confusion there not comfort inn fault there. That was Expedia to blame for giving someone else our paid room. But overall rooms were clean and other areas to the hotel

Please don’t be fooled by the pictures posted. This place is nasty and falling apart. The breakfast they say they provide it’s a very small frozen option. I was given a room that the whole roof was from what it seems like falling apart. Mold in the bathrooms. I rented five rooms and I can tell you they all looked the same.

Good well lighted parking. Front desk was good. Everything was run down not being fixed hole in cleling above shower dryer didt work and had to plug in a light to get it to turn on. But other than that nothing much else.

San Marcos hotels all seem to share the same low level of cleanliness.

Eggs were not that hot, only apples for three days no bananas or anything else our room was very nice and clean the outside dolly is for us to put our suitcases on were very helpful

The room had a smell that didn’t go away and the AC made a noise every time it turned on.

Nice room The breakfast area was filthy. Ran out of food both mornings we were there. Indoor pool had leaves in it and water was very cold

Water pressure in the shower was very low…only a trickle. It took a full 2-3 minutes to get hot water…at first, I thought there wouldn’t be hot water because I’m not used to waiting that long for hot water to arrive.

Very bad never want to stay there again took pictures of how bad this place is.

I did see a bug crawling in the bathroom and the inside of the tub was not clean enough.

Clean room. Comfy bed. Good water pressure for the shower. We would stay here again.

We checked into our room after traveling. The air conditioning was not working properly. It was hard to sleep due to the room temperature.

Everything was good but it seemed there was just a little something broken with everything. Rooms were clean, hotel was clean and staff was nice. Things like Side doors were not operating, pool was closed, only one elevator working. None of the juices were functioning for breakfast. Perfect for a short stay.

Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage links, waffles, muffins, toast, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, milk and juices. The facilities are very well-maintained and decorated. Bed comfy with lots of pillows. Ample parking with well-lit lot. Beautiful natural scenery.

Convenient location for my needs and quiet due to distance from the interstate.. Could be maintained better with paint and wallpaper repairs. My stay was for four days and we didn’t receive any room service despite two requests. The humidity in the building prevented towels from drying thoroughly. They had waffles but overall the breakfast was below average. They chose to wash lobby floors during the busiest time of the morning making moving about and exiting a slick experience.

Reservation showed we had a king accessible room. Room had 2 queens. Also bathroom had tub w/grab bars
