Very modern open feeling rooms. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants The rooftop lounge was not open on Sunday or Monday. We checked it out anyway. Lovely spot.

Modern design , great location, like the bar a roof terrace. Overall a beautiful hotel. Would like to buy it. This is how impressed I am with it. Unique among Marriott hotels. Very European style.

It's San Rafael's best secret, a 3 star that acts like a 5 star. Room amenities and sheets for a king. Nightly cheese and dessert are amazing. I always love staying here and always come back.

Best hotel in Marin County, contemporary design, high quality overall. Better than the ogg to we Marriotts in the area. Better than Hilton in Dan Rafael. Customized, personalized, boutique hotels. Optimal location in downtown San Rafael with having couple excellent restaurant nearby such as well know Il Davide in the area. Midway SF and Sonoma. For those who pay attention to detail and style , unmatched European sleekness and eqsuitite quality fabrics inside took me, lobby etc with beautiful rooftop terrace. Overall if you have friends visiting from abroad put them in this place. A bit pricy, would be great if they offer packages with some discounts . Overall unmatched for Baron by all standards coming frok a picky customer,

Lipstick on a Pig. Let me elaborate. The ice machine was broke, room tv was glitchy, my first room key was programmed for the wrong room and the ironing board was missing. Other that that, the stay was nice.

Everything clean. Parking garage was full and couldn’t use, which required street parking resulting in parking ticket as the directions are not visible at night. There was an issue with tv which was resolved within 20 minutes

But the room was perfect, clean, modern, and I really loved the bathroom fixtures!

Rooms are very simple. Open drawer, no amenities, not even a tooth brush or any sanitary suplies, just toilet paper and a bar o hand soap, as cheap as it can get, not even a pair of slippers to have when walking on cold linoleum floor. Very soft and plush mattress that gave me back pain
