Clean, spacious and well organized rooms. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was available in the morning, thoughtful and sufficient. Excellent location.

A very clean comfortable property that is a nice alternative to the pricy chain hotels. The staff was very accommodating and the area around the motel is well kept and inviting. It’s close to dining and drink options. I wouldn’t Heston stay here again in the future.

Room was very clean and updated. Decorated nicely and even had a really comfortable chair and huge desk. I would stay again!

Bed and chair were comfortable. Just a motel with no amenities. Shrink wrapped danish for breakfast.

Nice room. Loved the desk space, office chair and lounge chair. Bed was comfortable as well. Descent shower. It was near the road so opening a window wasn’t really an option and the huge ceiling fan created too much of a draft and if you turned the AC on, the person on that side of the bed was frozen. That was my only conundrum. We opted for the ceiling fan on low.

The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk folks were very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying that this motel and would definitely stay there again when I am in San Rafael. The room was a little stuffy but as soon as I opened the windows it was fine.

Great location and service, especially for the price. They were very accommodating to me after my flight was delayed and made sure to check in to ensure everything was okay.

If you’re hesitant to book at the lodge, don’t be. It is cozy, clean, and homey. My son and I stayed one night and were impressed by both the hospitality of the staff as well as the comfort and cleanliness of the room. We will absolutely stay at Marin Lodge when we’re in the area again!

This small hotel was surprisingly top notch. The room was spacious and clean and the furnishings were so comfortable. The bed was a much higher quality than what you would expect for a 2 star hotel. The hotel also had complementary pastries, coffee, and fruit in the mornings. Also the information binder had helpful information about how to pay for the Golden Gate Bridge toll if you had a rental car and I was able to pay the toll ahead. Would definitely stay at the Marin Lodge again!

Friendly, Courteous, Attentive Staff…Extremely Well Kept Facility…Complete Continental Breakfast each Morning…Excellent Location in a Residential Neighborhood, Yet within Minutes to the Expressway! What’s Not to like? Perfect Place to Stay!
