Cozy stay. Comfy bed with clean sheets. Some rooms require a shared bathroom so plan accordingly. I enjoyed the location for what it is. Onsite restaurant is a perk but no alcohol served. Also no elevator.

Even though the images of the hotel may look beautiful, don't be deceived, it's just a very old hotel. The room is so small and there wasn't even a counter at the front. It's overpriced. There is much better motel options out there with this price level. My friend caught a cold at night because the quilt is too thin. Never ever will come back again.

We stayed in the Jennifer room. It is a shared bathroom in the hall. We only stayed one night, but it was wonderful. Next time I will book a room with a private bath.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff are very kind. It is a great place to take the time to rest and relax on a long trip.

It is a nice old style Hotel in San Rafael. It has a nice restaurant. It is walking distance to a convenience store and other restaurants downtown. The rooms were very well maintained. There is a nice balcony you can see the city. It is like an old house.

The Roy rogers room was simple and comfy, was quite and took a nap for once..Thank you and see you again one day

We’ve enjoyed the Panama for years! It has such character and personality! The staff is terrific.
-
sweet rooms and nice staff can't wait for the restaurant to open up!

The hotel itself was clean. But shower curtain had blood stains. Old blood stains curtains were shredded. That bedskirt was ripped torn. Comforter had a huge hole in it. I noticed that the rug in the bathroom needed to be replaced. It was torn and had stains. Or would they charge for this hotel and considering how long it’s been an operation I think it shouldn’t cost them a whole lot to replace these things that need to be replaced.
