Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Richmond Airport

Everything went well, I would have liked to have taken a swim in the pool, but the water had a green tint, with dirt all over the bottom and way too cold.

We showed up at 12:30 for our booking. The front desk woman informed us the system had shut down and she could not check us in. My family waited in the lobby for hours. Still no progress. We called corporate and then went to the next door hotel. We did not get to bed until 2:30.

The staff was GREAT! The breakfast was amazing and was never running low on anything. Super easy and fast and friendly check in. Thank you!!

Great Stay

Disappointed that breakfast had no type of Fruit available And no danish or doughnuts

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The bed was so comfortable!! Breakfast was wonderful.

Room smelled like cats had been in there. Pool was completely green with algae and no filter running. Ended up leaving after an hour there

Staff was great. Since we had a 6 a.m. flight we brought our own breakfast. However we were dismayed that morning when we took our food out if the fridge and it was warm. Out of caution, we had to throw it away. Not happy about that.

Encouraging guests to follow the noise ordinance would’ve made for a better rest as we were waking very early for a flight. The shuttle service, however, was extremely helpful and on time.

This Fairfield is always so clean, friendly staff and most importantly - never loud! I’ve always had the most restful nights there.

Not a good place to stay.

Easy spot, close to the airport. Clean rooms, clean spaces, decent breakfast.Would recommend for a convenient, safe place near the airport.

Fairfield Inn is my go-to place whenever I’m in the area. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and they make check-in and check-out quick and easy. The rooms are consistently clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I always have a great experience here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable stay.

The staff was fine but completely overworked and underpaid. When we arrived at 10:45 PM at night there wasn't anyone at the front desk for about 15 minutes. Then a man came in who was sweating from apparently cleaning rooms. We were told our room wasn't ready yet! Check- in was at 3 PM, and it was 10:45 PM! So, we had to wait some more for bed linens to be put on. I can't even go into more details, but suffice it to say this did not seem to be the staff's fault. They were understaffed. I would not stay here again, though.

The pool could use a scrub, other than that it was great
