Springhill Suites By Marriott Richmond Airport

Property location wasn’t the most pleasant.

Location was great. The shuttle service made it very convenient to/from the airport. Room was comfortable and has ample space. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

Our check in time was 3pm and we arrived to the hotel a little after 3pm only to be informed that our room was not ready yet. They were still cleaning rooms from a large group the day before. The room wasn’t really until alter 4:30pm. The room itself was very spacious, in fact it felt as though there was wasted space in the room. The TV was placed far from the bed and had to be adjusted to view it. The shade to the windows didn’t come all the way down. There was a 2 inch gap, which let the outside light into the room at night. Also, there was a bright light over the sleeping area the would blink on and off every few minutes. The breakfast was not bad, but the juice was watered down. The lady that was tending to the breakfast area was Wonderful! She was very attentive and spoke to everyone, and kept the area clean. She was the best part of our stay at the hotel. The concierge we first encountered was also very nice and informed us of what was happening.

Absolute best hotel deal. 15 minutes drive to downtown Richmond. 2 minute drive to airport. Many restaurants and shops nearby. New building. Highly professional and courteous staff.

The rooms are clean.

The rooms and common areas are very clean and well maintained. Oh, thanks for the complimentary full-breakfast, which helped us start our days. We are hooked on this hotel and look forward to staying at the property on our return visits to Sandston, VA.

Superb accommodations and great value. I am sure the rates will be going up soon. This is my first choice for all of Richmond.

A very nice hotel. Just a few suggestions. Why does the bed have a down comforter as the only blanket in July in southern Virginia? The bed is too close to a loud air conditioner that blows frigid air to one side of your body when sleeping. The shower had two soap dispensers but no shampoo. Otherwise, it is a nice hotel.

Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Great stay for families, wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, so convenient to the Richmond airport.

Clean, comfortable, convenient and safe. Great customer service and hospitality. Well suited and situated for easy access to airport. But not many offsite amenities, shops, restaurants, etc. nearby; but many within five minute drive.

Also, the breakfast was delicious and different from the usual egg dishes you get.

Great staff, from front desks and bar/cafe to housekeeping and maintenance! Very kind and helpful! There is an odor of marijuana in the elevators that isn’t awesome and the selection of food could be a bit better. The fruit was old and limited and not enough protein dishes . Improving these things will let the hotel “knock it out of the park.”

Rooms were clean and relatively new. Not much around the area, but downtown is not far.

The hotel is very new. Everything was fresh and I loved the layout of our room and how spacious it was. The beds and pillows were very comfy. The few things I wasn’t crazy about were that the breakfast was mediocre to me, the in room mini fridge was barely cold inside and I couldn’t find the dial to adjust to make it colder so it wasn’t much better than a cooler without ice. Also on the morning of check out somehow another customer somehow opened our door with her room card key cause she thought it was her room,which is concerning cause no one else’s room card key should’ve opened our door. Other than the few things I mentioned, everything was great. Great location.

New hotel very close to the airport was great for late arrival in to Richmond as well as very early departure back home.

Hotel is very very clean and lovely and seemed very updated. Would definitely go back
