Marina Beach Hotel

Wonderful stay!!

Great clean place to stay, walking distance of 1 or 2 minutes to the beach! Very friendly staff, free bikes, free firepit, free warm chocolate chip cookies, clean rooms, pool nearby as well. Breakfast area stocked.

We absolutely LOVED our stay! The rooms were clean, literally a skip and a hop away from the Ocean and the staff was phenomenal! The bikes rentals and the continental breakfast was great and the kids looked forward every morning to grab a bite and head on to explore. We loved it so much that my 6 year old requested to go back to SB for her birthday. We weren’t able to book a stay for the dates we went back but we sure would have had rooms been available for that week. We will definitely come back and eagerly look forward to it! Free breakfast was great!

What a gem! I don’t usually like motels, but this one is super nice, clean, modern, great location, staff is amazing. I will come back and definitely I will recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Barbara.

The Marina Beach Motel was one of the best stops on our California road trip. The staff, Leslie and Emily, were absolutely fantastic and helpful. Close proximity to the beach. Beautiful, clean, and worth the stay. Wish we stayed longer.

Very convenient, walkable location between the beach and the Funk Zone, also an easy 10 minute walk to train (which we arrived and departed on). Great continental breakfast to get you going, including locally made pastries which were delicious! Nicely remodeled, clean, quiet rooms. We were only there for a short time and didn’t get to take advantage of the complimentary bikes, but imagine they would have been great to take on the paved oceanfront path.

Lovely, clean and very near the beach!

I was apprehensive about staying in a ‘motel’ but this place was fantastic! The room was clean and comfortable, the location was amazing, and the staff were phenomenal. If you want to stay close to the beach in SB, this is the place to be. It’s an adorable property less than a block from the ocean. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. They offer breakfast and bike rentals included with the room rate.

Completed a Pacific Coast highway road trip with a family of five. Driving from San Francisco to San Diego, our family voted this as the number one stop! This was the best place to stay with the most comfortable and clean accommodations! The staff could not have been nicer and the facilities, all beautiful! Especially enjoyed sitting by the fire pit, the proximity to all of Santa Barbara‘s offerings, and breakfast! We hated to go after only one night! This is a gem!

Clean room, helpful staff, free breakfast with coffee & tea

This is our second stay at the Marina Beach Motel. The Staff is very welcoming and helpful. We love the location. We travel with our dogs and love to walk to the Maria and beach. The grounds are kept up beautifully with comfortable seating in open garden area for afternoon book reading or conversation. As an extra bonus they bake cookies at 3pm us guests.
