West Beach Inn, a Coast Hotel

This is a good hotel to stay a night in if you are travelling through Santa Barbara. The weather in Santa Barbara is such that it's frequently humid, so the room had a kind of stuffiness to it which I think is just caused by the carpet and general dampness of the climate, and it was better after a few hours of ACc. This hotel is fine, but I wouldn't want to stay for many nights. The staff are great, the breakfast was a basic continental breakfast. There is a well maintained jacuzzi and pool, and it's across the street from a port where tour ships come in and unload their passengers to tour Santa Barbara. There is a little beach there, and many parking lots and the public lap pool, as well as a boardwalk.

Jorge was super helpful in getting us the perfect room, as we wanted to face the marina.

The location is one of the best things about it. It is conveniently located near the harbor, and if you enjoy walking, you can take beautiful walks along the water. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance, so you really do not need to drive once you are there. The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. I also really enjoyed the complimentary happy hour every evening from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. It is such a nice touch and a great way to relax at the end of the day. Overall, this is a great hotel in Santa Barbara with a wonderful location and welcoming staff. After four stays, I would definitely come back again.

The grounds are small, but well maintained and within walking distance to stores and restaurants. Would happily stay again!

Clean room but very small bathroom… a shower crammed in with the toilet and sink. Not adequate especially considering the price of the room. Coffee was very weak and the breakfast offerings were not good.

We always stay there -this time in the suite . It was clean , spacious and comfortable. The parking and check-in were easy and seamless. We enjoy the proximity to the harbor , beach 🏖️ and State Street . ❤️

Staff was friendly and welcoming but the my gave us an ADA room with a bathroom that smelled of mildew and super low uncomfortable beds. I could feel the springs.

An OK place to stay in a convenient central location

Our room was perfect. We had a balcony love the view of the ocean.

Spruced up motor court motel probably from the 1950s. Comfy bed. Nice pool. Parking lot filled up, get in early! Ok breakfast. AC worked well. Room had a little outdoor seating area. Cute, retro motel.

Everything was amazing except the breakfast. It was very limited, with no hot food at all, and the bagels and muffins were dry. Other than that, everything else was amazing. The beds were so comfortable, hot tub and pool were great, staff was great!
