The Milo

The location was great. The room was lovely with a great private terrace and view. There were 2 rooms at the top floor - block 1. They were lovely but the walls must be paper thin as we actually could hear what the people were saying.

Lovely comfortable decorated beautifully and clean and brilliant location. I loved everything but if one complaint just a bit noisy in the room allocated to us.

My bathroom had hair in the shower when I arrived. And they weren’t able to grant me any sort of a late checkout. I felt like they were pressuring me out right at 11. It was fine-

Great location and view of the marina. Room was comfortable and grounds were very nice. Loved the bike rentals. The curtains did not keep the light out at night, it was very bright. Blackout curtains would be a great addition.

Neat older hotel near the water. The breaker in the bathroom kept throwing when we plugged a hair dryer in. The same with our friend’s room. The first time it was handled quickly. The day we were to leave and go to the airport, it was not rectified and we didn’t have any way to use the bathroom. Had to get ready in the dark, because the sun wasn’t up yet, and didn’t have a way to dry our hair. Front office staff tried but didn’t seem concerned that they couldn’t help. Very frustrating.

Love the hotel its space was very clean. The staff are wonderful here. The staff makes this place great. So accommodating. HR was on the ball on whoever hired their staff here. ♥️

Our trip was amazing from start to finish..the room was beautiful and clean and the private patio with a fire pit that we sat by every night and looked out over the water was truly amazing….this is our first time staying here and hopefully not our last… the staff was very pleasant and helpful.. walking distance to all the great areas …the only downside is that we didn’t stay longer

Advice: avoid room 3205 or building 3 entirely for that matter. Also, avoid rooms up front by the street. The view won’t be worth the noise level. That frontage road can drag strip used by idiots late at night. Read LOUD with single pane windows making it worse. Too expensive for such avoidable nuisances. If you stay here, check where the room is first.

This is a Motel- not a proper 4 star hotel. They charged us $1000 for a motel bedroom. Completely outrageous.

The towels were not cleaned and there was not enough toilet treats in our room and no shower caps!

Spent 2 nights at the Milo with family and friends. We had a great time at the pool and loved how walkable the area is with the beach right across the street.
