Beautiful property, great location and excellent customer service, but the rooms were very small, even the king deluxe

A plus for being pet friendly. Love the location, close to State Street, Stearns Wharf, Harbor, FunkZone the Beach. All within walkling distance.

Lovely and charming property with several diverse areas to experience. Hidden pool in back lot is a gem. Beware of rooms surrounding the front pool however unless you enjoy screaming children throughout the day. Pricing can be painful at times. No longer has an onsite fitness center but there is an arrangement with a club on State Street. Parking is valet only which can be a pain if you are using the hotel as a staging point for driving.

This is our second stay at Hotel Milo and would highly recommend. You can’t beat the location- walkable to restaurants, the marina and the beach. The staff is helpful and attentive, the morning coffee bar and nightly s’mores are a treat. The pool area is clean and well stocked with towels. Mostly, we love the ocean views and coziness of the many different buildings and courtyards. We will be back.

Great beachfront hotel with attentive staff. Our room in Building 6 was very spacious and comfortable with easy access to the pool and beach. Nightly s’mores at their multiple fire pits was a fun treat. Highly recommend.

Location was great! I also loved the plentiful outdoor seating and pool. I would stay here again!

The location is excellent. You’re in walking distance of so many restaurants and the nice area to sit out and relax. The AC was a little noisy, but other than that the rooms are beautiful.

Loved this hotel close to everything walking

Love the hotel and have stayed many times over the last 10 years. Downside was “standard King” being way too small with no closet, no dresser, only a few small drawers in the nightstands. and no room to lay out or store even medium size suitcases.

We had a wonderful stay at La Jolla Shores! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach, with plenty of great restaurants and cafés nearby. The area felt safe, clean, and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. We watched a stunning sunset. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Cannot wait to come back.

The restaurant “on site” doesn’t do dinner but breakfast& lunch good. The public gym is 20 min walk away and OK ish. The rooms and gardens are good. Definitely would stay again.
