My family was put in a room next to an ice machine that was loudly cycling all night and kept my wife and I awake. AC was also not working and the room was hot. We left after 1 night. While the front desk staff are very nice, they are communicating poor decisions from their management. 0/10 would not stay here again.

It’s our families go to hotel!

Phenomenal location across the street from the beach, wonderful and welcoming staff, lovely property and beautiful rooms. No notes! Would stay here again and again and again.

It’s a great location. Super close to everything. Across from the beach. Walkable restaurants etc. We had to wait two hours to check in upon arrival. Check-in was at 4pm we didn’t get our room to almost 6pm. When you arrive you want room access so you can start the vacation. We were on the first floor - You can hear the people walking above. Customer service was great. I asked for my room to be cleaned and they did it right away or I had asked to have the sofa bed made up and it was done right away. The valet was so nice. Worked super hard. You can have dogs which is a huge plus for us. Beds were comfortable and the AC was nice and cool. Overall property needs some TLC. It’s a busy place. A nice touch would be for them to have dog bowls for us to use in the room upon arrival. Bringing a dog is such a plus for this hotel they should go all out with that amenity.

Clean hotel and friendly staff. The biggest flaw in this hotel are the ac units right next to the beds. The ac unit is extremely loud. We were unable to sleep due to the extremely loud noise it makes and without it on it was too warm. Would not book again for this reason. Price for what you get wasn’t worth it.

The air conditioner blew straight on the bed, no way to redirect the air, vents need to move, fan in the bathroom did not work. Outdoor space was excellent, location was stellar.

However, there is a serious safety issue that needs immediate attention. An air-conditioning unit approximately two rooms down from ours was leaking water across the walkway. Because the water blended into the painted floor, it was extremely difficult to see and made the surface dangerously slippery. I slipped at least five times and fell once, although I was able to catch myself. I also witnessed two other guests nearly fall. Had I been older, intoxicated, or not in good physical condition, I could have been seriously injured. This presents a significant liability and should be repaired immediately. The valet also misplaced our Tesla key card. We were told it would be replaced, and our contact information was taken, but we checked out Monday and, as of Saturday, no one has contacted us. I hope the hotel follows through promptly. The coffee service could also use an upgrade. The current selection and presentation do not match the quality, style, or price point of the property. We paid approximately $700 per night, including ta

The hotel has an amazing history, great location, cool amenities. The rooms are in need of some maintenance, the pool deck could use a good pressure washing of the loose gravel, but overall it was a fun trip.

Great location

The view is incredible! The rooms are so clean and comfortable. The staff is so friendly and go out of their way. The only complaint is the shower is comically small lol. 💛💛💛

From the Valet staff, to the front desk, service was excellent. Location excellent… loved having access to bikes and beach chairs. It’s a little overpriced, but so is everything in SB. We were coming off a week of dropping kids at 2 schools on 2 different coasts and just needed to decompress. Totally lovely room, experience, atmosphere. We will be back.

Pool hours are not ideal but otherwise the hotel was great

Staff was awesome. We did have to move rooms so that's why it's not a 5 star.

We loved our stay and plan to return!

Location, location, location!

Wonderful experience at character-filled property, staff super helpful and nice. We checked out the bikes every day twice and never had any issues. We swam in both pools and explored the fire pits. Our room was very close to the street so not very peaceful but we had a nice view of pool and a bit of ocean. Would definitely return. Love the Milo!

Across the street from the beach, which in the area is called beachfront. Beautiful older hotel with the Wharf and restaurants within walking distance. The room was very small and the had no closet to hang our clothes. Overall great stay.
-
Charming place with great location by the beach.
-
A great place to stay with an overlook over the ocean! Also able to get on the beach easily and downtown was close enough to walk into
