The Eagle Inn

We enjoyed our stay at The Eagle Inn! Everything was super clean, the staff was very helpful, breakfast was good and there were plenty of options to choose from, and we actually needed some air conditioning during our time there, so that was a plus. Thank you for the upgrade, we appreciated it and I would recommend anyone to stay in the little cottages, I know we will if we ever happen to visit Santa Barbara again.

Passable

The location was good. Close to the beach but not very close to the downtown shops or restaurants. Parking was very limited in the carports which were always taken up, but there's more parking by the main office. We stayed at the Santa Barbara Casita and it was very nice but for the price it would have been nice to have a small kitchenette. The plumbing was very loud. The floors creaked. The pillows were very thick and hard on the neck. There were two TVs but they both came on and went off at the same time using the remote controls. The day we stayed there, workers were pulling off the screens on the windows to have the windows cleaned the next day. One of the workers entered our room without knocking which was very unexpected and rude. Thank goodness both of us were clothed and just watching TV. We did not like that at all. Breakfast was brought to our room which was much appreciated. However, the food was a little on the bland side. Check-In was very easy and the staff was nice. Also, the grounds were kept beautifully. Everything was very clean. Overall a very nice stay but in our opinion a little pricey just for two nights. Parking carports were always full and very cramped. Pillows were uncomfortable. Plumbing was loud. Employee entered our room before knocking. Breakfast was just ok. Hard to justify the price for two nights.

My flight got canceled and I booked this very last minute. The front desk guy was extremely helpful and the breakfast in the morning was great!

There was absolutely no sense of privacy. We could clearly hear the front desk conversations from inside our room, which made the room feel more like an extension of the reception area than an actual guest room. When we complained about the situation, the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional, which made the experience even more disappointing. If you are coming here for a holiday to relax and unwind, this is definitely not the place. The room setup and constant noise make it impossible to properly relax, and instead of leaving feeling refreshed, you leave the hotel with a headache and in a bad mood. Unfortunately, this experience was enough for us to know that we will never come back.

Great staff and a comfy large room with good amenities and great pillows. location was ideal. Bathroom shelf space for toiletries is limited.

Location near the marina at west beach was convenient. Very helpful front desk staff. Breakfast was delicious. Loved having access to e-bikes. The trails around the harbor are close by and a wonderful way to see the harbor. Lov3d our stay!

For the price, everything was amazing. I didn't stay long enough.

Great location Nothing

Pieter received us super well! Room was spacious, and overall clean. Good location near the beach. Drain had a strong smell. AC was dirty and directed straight to our heads, making it uncomfortable to sleep with it on.

room is very comfortable: clean and large enough. The city itself is beautiful with many kinds of delisious foods. Living here can be very much far away from anxieties. Hopefully one day we will go there again.

Charming atmosphere, well maintain traditional and upgrades. My room was quaint, large enough for chairs, a desk and fireplace. The breakfast area is inviting and choices are delicious. The location is great for walking to the beach or local spots. Loved the experience.
