La Playa Inn

Wonderful location just a quick walk to beach and to State Street activities. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, room was clean and well appointed. Would stay here again!

La Playa Inn was amazing! We will defiantly stay there again! I loved the Mediterranean vibe! We felt like we were in Spain or Italy. The breakfast area was so cute and the outdoor patio was a nice place to hang out between outings. The location was perfect! Close to the beach, SBCC, and downtown. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Great place to stay, close to everything

Room and lobby were very clean and still look new, but with a rustic Spanish style. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Great location close to the beach and wharf. Showers have body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Fridge, coffee maker, ironing board and iron in the rooms. Highly recommend staying here.

Spacious room and bathroom. Nice to have a window that opens with a screen. TV channels. AC. Coffee in reception area. Good location for sites downtown. Free parking. There could have been a water bottle in the room.

Wonderful rooms, and helpful, caring staff. Only drawback: wish the bathroom doors were full doors that shut because they didn’t offer much privacy at all. That seems to be the new hotel trend now, for some reason. But the rest of the experience was perfect! Would stay again 100%.

Location was good, all day coffee, staff was great. Pretty clean hotel. I think the high price is more due to the location - being in santa barbara and 5 minutes from the beach. Bed is very high and a bit too soft. Woke up with a sore back. Pillows were kind of flat. Towels can be softer.

Great location, great architectural style. Beautiful surroundings! Although the room was squeaky clean when we arrived. The room cleanings on the days after were a bit too superficial.

Cute spot, rooms were clean. The hotel is walking distance to the Wharf and downtown. Wear comfortable shoes! Overall the experience at the hotel was pleasant.

The hotel is conveniently located to a lot of good restaurants. The staff was super nice, professional and so helpful. I’ll definitely be back.

Location, parking, room, staff Our balcony faced parking lot of neighboring hotel parking lot. Not a great place to sit. Interior room balconies are beautiful.

We had a lovely stay at La Playa! Everything was smooth, considered, and clean. I almost didn't want to post about it because it seems like a gem at this price point. Highly recommend and will be back soon!
