Besides that, property was clean, staff was respectful and helpful, and bed / quality of sleep was perfect.

Overall it was comfortable to stay. Great location, friendly staff. The Internet wasn't stable, and the speed was only 5mbps with the special code provided.

The pictures only don’t tell the real story. Looks nice from the outside but once you walk in it’s a different story. I’ve never seen so many stains on hallway carpets. The plate on our door only had one screw so it wasn’t fully attached and wouldn’t allow the door to fully close on its own. We had to pull it shut each time. The toilet barely flushed when we got there so we had to plunge it ourself just to make it through the weekend.

The rooms were good in size, very clean and very pet friendly. The staff super friendly and very helpful and the location was excellent. Overall our stay at simply suites was comfortable. We only have one complaint there is only one elevator and unfortunately for us it was on the other side of the building and we were on the third floor so it was a lot of stairs or a very long walk,

Wow- we stayed here three years ago and it was not this bad. No ice machine at hotel, it was hit or miss weather the fridge in your room made ice. The thermostat on wall was not working so we had an old wall unit blaring. The carpet is old and pretty dirty and the WiFi was slow. The lighting in kitchen was like a prison cell. The bath tub had no way of filling it up as there was no stopper. This place needs an over haul and the management needs to take a hard look at customer experience. It's a great location across from SCU. That is prob why they are still in business.

the room was dirty, carpet / floor not very clean. there was a medication pill found on the floor. the room was very outdated. the breakfast "buffet" looked awful. the price of the room that i booked and was quoted was almost doubled. the person at check in was nice. Never again!

Perfect for visiting Santa Clara University across the street. Free parking and you can walk to campus. The rooms are a little run down but clean and spacious.

Other things that were great was the location, the amenities and the rooms themselves. The only thing I gave a lower score on was the property itself. There have been solid refurbishments but it's age is showing and there are obvious things that could be done to improve it's overall appearance. However, overall, the stay was defenitely great value (and comfort) and perfectly located. I will be returning.

The light inside the room The overnight staff were super unhelpful and when the toilet overflowed he refused to switch our rooms and made us plunge the toilet at 2am with water already all over the floor and we had to clean with all of our towels and weren’t able to get any more until the next day.

All was good but whenever we powered off the A/C there would be a faint smell of smoke in the room. Also an additional smaller chair in the room for dining would've been helpful. The large lounge chair by the bed was unwieldy given room size

Very close to the San Jose airport, located right across the street from the Santa Clara University campus, which is beautiful and peaceful. We were at the far end of the building, away from the elevator, on the second (of three) floors, so we used the stairs which was very convenient. Starbucks was right there for our morning coffee. Parking was only $7/day. Windows were double-paned, to keep out the sounds of the trains, I’m guessing, so it was quiet. We brought flower leis from Hawaii so it was important to have a full sized refrigerator. My husband has knee issues, so an elevator on our end would have been nice, but we managed.
