Location is good and near to where we need to be

Super old carpet, and dirty. The room bathroom was clean, but the carpet was super dirty. I had to use flip-flop inside the room, disgusting. Also the hallways had a super dirty carpet.

Have stayed here a few times because of convenience and just had to say that while the service was really lovely the hotel itself was filthy. Boxes everywhere, garbage overflowing in nearly every garbage can, luggage racks left in the hallway, carpets filthy as if they had not been vacuumed in a week. The hotel needs a carpet upgrade, for sure and needs a deep clean, for sure.

The bed was comfortable, the bedding was clean, and I liked having a full-sized fridge and living room. The wifi was terrible, the lamps were waterstained, and if you want new towels you have to take the dirty ones to the front desk to exchange them. The dishes were dirty. And the dishwasher would not get dishes clean, even though I ran it several times and even went and got my own dish detergent. The TV only shows cable, but you can plug in a firestick, but between the wifi and the TV capabilities, even the firestick's abilities were limited. And, they charged for parking. The best thing about the Sonesta is the proximity to SCU. But next time I'll stay somewhere else.

The AC stopped working during our stay. No discount was offered. We only stayed one night.

They over booked. When we got there they had given our suite away. We booked months ahead of time. We had three people and only one bed. No cots or suitable solution was given. We had to leave and buy a blow up mattress. The whole thing was ridiculous.

Exactly as advertised.., no surprises, extremely close to metro travel, University, room and amenities just right if you're in the area for a little while and you want to do a little cooking and food prep like home.., this is your place.., enjoyed it!

Great to have a kitchen for the process and walking distance to the SCU soccer stadium.
