This is one of those “get what you pay for” properties but in saying that the room was clean, spacious and besides the spot where a photo was clearly missing well maintained. The bed was relatively comfortable and had 4 pillows and 2 different firmnesses between them which was nice to see. There was a fairly large gap under the door which definitely lets some gnats and I did see an ant when I first got there, maybe they should put some weather stripping down to try and mitigate that issue. The bathroom was clean, the shower head wasn’t a winner, not the best water pressure and wasn’t very maneuverable. Overall the place was good, nothing special but for a motel set up it was relatively quiet until the trash truck came but that’s fine and it’s got a great location with several dining and coffee options across the street. I would stay again.

The shower doesn’t stay dry. Besides that the room is nice and clean. I also like the location. Front desk staff is very friendly.

There were ants when we got there and the started crawling in the bad with us in middle night. The people were really nice but this was awful.

The whole property was very updated and great care taken in all of the details. The value was great!

We stay here every year for the Santa Clara Art and wine festival! It is close to everything and we feel like we are busing family every time we arrive! Quit, safe , and comfortable!

We checked in around 10 pm and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to park right in front of our room. The tiny motel soap was the only thing that I would have changed. Great value and close to the freeway to get us back to our trip with no problem.

Excellent place to stay in San Jose .Eduardo is very helpful. Easy access to public transportation. Would recommend to my friend and might stay there again next time when we travel to San Jose.

The room had quirks one often finds in an inexpensive hotel. The bathroom light switch was in an unexpected spot--it was originally activated through a motion detector. The shower was hot with good water pressure. Despite the fact that the shower door seemed to be installed improperly, it did not leak water on the floor. There was a wine refrigerator that cooled my water bottle well, with the benefit that we could see stuff we left there. We were disappointed that housekeeping left more hair than usual in the shower and sink, but it seems that they were down to part-time housekeeping staff. The door was not well sealed, so my spouse used his towel to keep out the draft and noise. And the air conditioner seemed to turn off before the room reached the desired temperature. Normally I might give a hotel like this three stars, but Ed's kindness bumps my rating up to four. For a short stay, this hotel was just fine.
