Sterling Inn

I absolutely would NOT recommend this hotel especially if you have children, because I had the terrible experience of finding bed bugs in my bed, and I don't think the hotel inspects the rooms at all for cleanliness. I would NEVER go back!

I needed a place close by to the university and this was minutes walk from my daughters apartment. Convenient to local coffee shops, place to eat and obviously the school. Would recommend to any families visiting their students. I will be bs k.

It was a very quiet inn and there was bus stops right outside for transportation. The shower was a bit awkward.

This was our second overnight stay here. The owner is really nice and helpful. The rooms are clean. Parking is easy. Location is quiet and there are some coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

Amazing staff and definitely made the stay worth it.

Everything about this spot is great although parking IS slim so luckily food places are more than walking distance across the street and coffee (no coffee makers in the room). Also, a Safeway a couple min drive down the road for any needs.

Owners are exceptionally kind and welcoming. This is our go to place in Santa Clara. Location is convenient, rooms are very clean, and this may be the only hotel I visited with good pillows that do not disappear under your head :)

Clean room, very nice staff and felt very safe. Free parking was a great amenity as well.

To start when I arrived the man behind the counter at the front desk was rude, and almost refused to give me my key, although I prepaid. And we had felt when we walked into the room that the room was pretty clean, however after walking around on the floor for one hour it’s obvious the floors had never been washed and I have photos. And our neighbors upstairs were extremely noisy all in all it was not a pleasant day.

The property was clean and quiet. The room was very clean and spacious.

The owners take tremendous pride in maintaining their property. Inside and outside were very well maintained. Room was tidy, air conditioning worked great, good size fridge and microwave. I like the large shower and separate sink with plenty mirrors. Upon check out Ed even filled up my water bottle with ice for me. It’s continently located by food & drink spots and not a super busy area. Would stay here again.

Ed is a great property manager. He's always helpful and very kind. When I travel to Sj for work, here's the place I always stay. Plus it's really close to the airport.
