Sterling Inn

Loved our clean room and the front desk guy was great!

We had a wonderful stay for 2 days. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel comfortable from check-in to check-out. The room was clean, comfortable, and everything went smoothly. We really appreciated the excellent customer service and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

While checking in I noticed an orange tree out front, the man checking me in told me to help myself. He also said help yourself to some lemmons as well.

we were pleasantly surprised. You could think Sterling Inn was just a traditional motor lodge, but everything looked brand new. Structure, furniture, linens, everything was sparkling. The host was friendly and funny. We even appreciated the small touch that the parking area had no curb up to the doors, making access for disabled folks and luggage easier.

Convenience and flexibility of owner/manager. Not much, it was a simple, clean motel. I felt safe there.

Floor was fairly dirty – stepping out of the shower my husband’s feet got muddy. They were out of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. There were no tissues. bare-bones room – the only saving grace was that we were there for just one night. No fan in the bathroom, no nightlight, you had the bathroom door in the way of the shower, the towels were very small, took forever to get hot water, and there were no hooks on the wall in the bathroom at all. Would not recommend except for convenience to the airport.

Friendly staff and clean, remodeled and quaint rooms. Parking was a breeze. The inn is conveniently located with many restaurants, shopping and entertainment nearby.

Owner was very friendly. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. There was also a microwave and a nice mini fridge. No closet to store your clothes. Floors are squeeky. Not super sound proof.

Convenient for Santa Clara University but would opt for more modern amenities next stay Room a bit odd

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Food options right across the street and not far to transport links. We visited during the World Cup and as a result the price was excessive.

Very clean room! Front desk man was super nice! Several restaurants were located across the road and we also ended up visiting the cat cafe which we definitely would recommend!

Everything in the room is fine, except the air conditioner is too noisy, so I have to turn it off to sleep.

Super convenient to visit Santa Clara University. Owner is very nice.

This is a basic, no frills motel in a very convenient location. Room was very clean and Ed at the front desk could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Super friendly staff and owner even called us by name without ever having met us! Greeted us in the parking lot. Beautiful grounds. Lots of attention goes into the property and the owner is proud. Food and coffee shops right across the street. Would stay again.
