Beachview Inn

I was on a trip to Santa Cruz for couple of nights. Booked this Inn for the proximity of the beach and the parking. It seriously takes 2 minutes to go to the beach/Wharf, and walking distance there are a ton of great restaurants, gift shops, coffee, ice cream, everything. Boardwalk is 2 minutes walk as well. It’s a room with shower and bed so that’s all I needed. I am giving it 5 stars because of the location and price. Don’t expect anything too fancy, there’s a fridge but not coffee maker or hangers. I didn’t care anyway, it felt safe and nothing can beat that location for the price!

First of all, I would like to commend the staff for their flawless service. We were welcomed at check-in by a very pleasant, friendly, and sweet young lady who processed everything quickly and instantly cheered us up after our journey. The room itself was sparkling clean. The bed linen was crisp, fresh, snow-white, and very comfortable to sleep on. We were especially impressed by the housekeeping: even though our stay was very short, the room was thoroughly cleaned after the first night. The staff didn't just tidy up; they completely replaced the towels and replenished all the toiletries (shampoo and soap). This level of attention to detail and care for guests is hard to find. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of service and cleanliness. We will definitely come back again! Thank you so much for the warm welcome!

staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was less than 2 min walk from the beach and food! Would definitely stay here again, minimal amenities(which is known by reading the details if the place) but for the price and location GREAT spot. My gf and I spent most of our time adventuring around anyways so it was overall a very satisfying experience.

Location to boardwalk was super close. The room was great and very clean. Staff was awesome

Great spot for a last minute one night stay. Room was clean ( couple dirty spots on bathroom doors, but nothing major). Mattress was not the best, but it was one night. Walking distance to Pier and the Boardwalk! Room had a small fridge, which was nice.

We had a great stay here for two nights , very friendly staff , easy access to all the attractions on the beachfront , will be back for sure next time we're in Santa Cruz !

Great location and very reasonably priced! The rooms are clean and the gentleman who checked me in was great. I travel mainly for business, and the total absence of any hangers in the room was inconvenient. The rooms are VERY basic, so while I’d consider staying here again if I was traveling alone, I’d look elsewhere if my wife was traveling with me.

The room was clean and had air conditioning. The staff great. The parking area can be a little tight, but doable. An easy walk to the warf and boardwalk.
