Super close to the beach and free parking. Not the most upscale place but good for sleeping and getting ready for the day. Would stay again. Also had a ocean view!
-
It was perfect for what we needed, a place to rest and sleep in between going to the beach and the boardwalk. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would stay there again.
-
it was kind of tight, but it was comfortable. easy access to the beach.

We had a great stay! The hotel was very clean, quiet, and in a perfect location—just a short walk to both the Boardwalk and the Wharf. The convenience made our trip even more enjoyable. The only thing I wish they had was more amenities, but overall it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

Nearby lots of great places within walking distance.

Great location

The room was large and clean, it had basic amenities, but no coffee anywhere on site. The towels, soap, etc. were basic. But it was super close to the beach and Boardwalk with many places to eat nearby.

Great staff, amazing price and spot. AC vents really needed to be cleaned and were caked with dust/lint but everything else was great!

At check in I requested an ironing board / iron, and got them. Only to discover later there was no closet or clothes rack on the wall to hang my ironed clothes. But hind sight that was my fault, this is a great ocean adjacent motel. People only come here with 2 clean pair of underwear and a swim suit. Not dress clothes. Had the teeny / tiny-ist bar of soap I have ever seen at a motel, (see photo). Reminds me of the slivers of soap grandma would save in a glass jar. All Parking lot on moderate to steep slope so people with trouble getting in and out of cars may find it very hard to do here. 3 days did not know there was a microwave, because in was on top of the mini- fridge that was in the bottom of a cabinet. The fridge was pulled out but the microwave was pushed all the way back against the wall so you couldn't see it. Sat internet kept going out. Can walk 1 block to the beach / ocean. Friday Beach traffic and parking just horrible ; Had to go to harbor on Sunday morning, detours were insane,, and then there was the race with all the streets closed. That's why I picked this location , used an internet mapping system, it looked close to the harbor, BUT the bridge was closed for construction and the detour was like 4-5 miles around town. Outside there was a Taco Bar restaurant, I tried it once, can't recommend, food was cold. Front desk people very friendly and helpful. This is a great BEACH MOTEL to say at if going to the beach all week. I would stay here again.

Thank you to the managers for making this a memorable trip.

Proximité de la plage

It’s on the cheaper side, so don’t expect anything fancy but if you need to get a good nights sleep, this is a great budget friendly hotel! I couldn’t ask for a better location as it’s within walking distance to the wharf and boardwalk! Again, the staff were good people and make you feel welcome!! Thank you

This hotel is a great location walking distance to the Santa Cruz pier and the beach but like most of the hotels in Santa Cruz the place is old and worn!! They did have parking which was a bonus!!
-
Parking is limited and on a hill. Overall ok.
-
The staff was great and very welcoming. A central location close to the pier made it all very convenient. Amenities like soaps and shampoos could have been nicer.
-
Staff was very accommodating. Parking was a little difficult as it was on a hill walking up and down the hill could be strenuous for unfit people. The location was walkable to the Boardwalk and the pier and many stores. No coffee maker in room.? No closet to hang clothes. The bed was on a metal platform that slid on the floor and made a clanging sound when sitting to put on shoes etc. We had to leave one day early as our outrigger canoe event was moved to Redwood City due to hazardous conditions on the water. We paid for a 3 night stay and a refund for the last night was not an option. We might come back, but most likely not. Thank you

If you’re looking for a great location, this place is A++++++++++

The rooms are small but functional, and the staff is very friendly and helpful

Onsite parking lot was very steep and cramped. Hard to get out and turn around when the lot is full. Our room's window screen frame was significantly damaged, like someone had broken in before and it wasn't fixed/replaced. The floor was not cleaned regularly, the hard floor made our feet black after walking around the room.

Should of got 1/2 our money back.
