La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Santa Cruz

Staff was very friendly and upgraded us to a large room. Place was very clean and had a nice smell throughout. I loved that the parking under the hotel and is locked and that you can take the elevator directly to your floor. Thanks for your hospitality

Terrible mattress. When I sat on it, I could hear the springs squeaking and upon lying down my back started hurting immediately because I could feel the springs boring into my back. Got maybe 2 hours sleep tops because the mattress was so uncomfortable. I peeled the sheets back the next morning and realized the mattress completely bowed in the middle. This is something I would expect at a flea bag motel, not this property that charged me $400 per night.

Our recent stay at the La Quinta Inn in Santa Cruz was great. The hotel was clean throughout, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. One of the best aspects of the property is its location, as it is within easy walking distance of the beach and surrounded by plenty of dining options. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast provided a good variety of choices each morning. Parking was also straightforward and felt secure, making the overall experience convenient and hassle-free.

With this said, like many hotels walls and ceilings are thin so we heard guest next door snoring all night and guests upstairs with kids were running and jumping on the beds. I have kids also so I could understand. Just wished parents were more aware and courteous of guests below them. Nice continental breakfast also. We stayed for 2 days and both mornings they kept it open longer than usual and were not strict about cut off time. Very accommodating. Next time I come back I will ask for a higher level room. Walking distance to boardwalk was a big plus!

Lovely place

The complimentary breakfast was good. I’m rating a 4 start because I fell on my knees due to a spill on the floor of the hotel. I have reached out to the manager and still haven’t heard back.

Todo muy limpio, el personal muy atento. Solamente a la hr del desayuno es un relajo el aria donde para servirte muy pequeña y ay muncha jente. Pero sobre todo excelente.

Private parking, good staff, good room, close to beach and boardwalk

Room exceptionally clean for a pet friendly hotel. No hairs in bathroom or smells. Thank you to the housekeeper for making us feel at home. Downside is you have to pay extra for parking. Would highly recommend it and will use again if we visit the area in the near future.

This is a great place to stay. Location just off the beach, underground parking (for a fee), spacious rooms. They need a larger breakfast area or some additional seating.
