Edgewater Beach Inn

Nice location.

Perfect location to the beach and all that Santa Cruz has to offer. You can hear the waves from your room. Comfortable beds and all the amenities were impeccable. Would stay again if we find ourselves in Santa Cruz again

Our stay was amazing I wish we would have stayed longer! Room was a great size and very clean and organized. Staff were super friendly let us know all the special activities around.

This was a great property - wonderful location - super clean. I love that the pool had extended hours (even though we did not get to use it). Coffee available anytime and the room was spotless and great. One thing which was a surprise was the cost of having our little doodle stay - it's more than most places - so be sure to ask about that as we assumed it would be like other places we've stayed. Apart from that tiny surprise, we were 100% satisfied - everything exceeded our expectations.

Very cool spot, great location. Mel was super helpful. Highly recommended. Will stay there again.

The room was perfect for our large family. The front office staff was so helpful and accommodating, even taking extra care to check on us.

Our stay at the Edgewater was wonderful. The staff was welcoming, the grounds well maintained & our room very clean with a beautiful view! Couldn't ask for a better location, in the middle of the action but still peaceful & relaxing. We'll be back! Thanks for a lovely getaway!

I stayed for the IronMan competition and location is perfect. Rooms where clean and as expected. Cleaning could be better.

Room could use high dusting other than that beautiful stay. I have no bad thing to say about this property. Literally minutes away from the boardwalk, Pier I’m extremely happy to have found this location and planning to stay here my next visit.

Super cute and clean place! Very convenient when walking to the beach and boardwalk! Definitely would book this place again. Bed comfortability is a solid 6 out of 10 but that’s a personal preference not a deal breaker.

The rooms are huge and great for larger families. The grounds are clean and the location is good. There was no ac and it got very hot in our room, the location of our room was open to the outdoor patio of the neighbors and our windows opened to their patio. They were loud and up late and we could even hear their TV running. The pullout bed in the couch was absolutely horrible and extremely uncomfortable. Also, for the price you get no continental breakfast. Lastly, they grossly overcharge for pets.

It was clean and pretty close to the beach. The coffee in the room did not have complete ingredients and/or packets to complete a coffee drink.

We were there 8/17 and today is 8/29. I have been telephone tagged between Expedia saying that the hotel would not call back and the front desk escalating to the manager, Gabby. Gabby was very nice in the phone and said she would look into it and call me back with 24-48 hours. No call. Expedia said she told them she left a voicemail to me. She did not. Expedia is trying one more time to get money back within 72 hours. I did not enjoy this experience and have wasted hours going through phone trees and getting documentation. I currently sm waiting for 72 for Expedia. I will update this review if I get satisfaction. I plan to update every review site I can think of so people are fully aware. I wish this were resolved. I wish the front desk had not indicated I would get money back if there policy was that I wouldn’t. I wish Gabby had followed through. There were so many ways to avoid these problems.
