Comfort Inn Santa Cruz North

Rooms were clean, but I didn't like the sink being outside the toilet/shower. Not a great design. Breakfast was fine, no issues and I wasn't expecting anything more. The bavkroom/prep room door was open though and I took a peak. It was really messy. Not a great look. Area was a tad sketchy.

Front desk staff was helpful and nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Easy access to freeway

need some repairs, door have such a big gap. tv doesn't work, remote control ran out of battery. they need to check the room out before booking it.

Room was very clean except the chair in the room was badly stained. The breakfast set up was crowded, and the coffee bar should be moved away from the food. Too many people crowding one space.

Fairly quiet hotel even though it's clise to highway 1. I was surprised. Hot tub was nice and hot. Breakfast had an assortment of breads, cereals, potatoes, sausage amd make your own waffles, etc. Coffee was decent. Bed was comfortable. Only thing I didn't like about the room is the curtains are only half curtains and don't close. There are plantation type shutters, but they don't block the outside lights at night and let too much light in the room. Otherwise for the price this is a nice choice for the area.

I got scared the first night because a homeless guy just rode his bike into the parking lot. Some guy drove in after him and made him leave. But it was an odd incident to happen. The room sufficed. I feel like there’s hardly any difference between the bed sizes (double vs. queen) so keep that in mind when booking. The ventilation in the bathroom was not great so it smells musty. The towels did not seem to be replaced from the previous tenants and I found this out because there was blond hair in one of our towels and nobody in my party is blond… The breakfast is decent. There are waffles, cereal, various breads and yogurt. The water and coffee seemed to be lukewarm so we avoided it. The space to eat breakfast was small and oftentimes, there wouldn’t be anywhere to sit. Expect it to be crowded and just take your food to your room. Overall, I don’t think I would stay here again. However, the staff is nice. The location is close to the freeway, downtown and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

Shower was broken. Water spraying all over the bathroom. Next morning informed the front desk. Receptionist apologized and said she would sent someone to fix the issue. Aunts in the room and on the sink.

Do not stay at this motel. I am still trying to get a refund. I could not even stay 1 night. Horrible chemical smell that made us sick instantly and cockroaches in the bathroom.

Good motel for quick stay. Location was good for what we needed. Staff was kind and helpful, breakfast was decent.

The hotel was nice enough. My children feet turned black walking around the floor of or room. Outside of that it was a fair value for the price. Breakfast was good. Typical hotel breakfast. Lots of carb options, only a few protein.
