Ocean Pacific Lodge

We have stayed here many times over the years but this time we noticed how dated the hotel is now. Our room smelled musty and the ac didn’t work well. It kept rattling through the night. No fans in the bathroom to take the mositure out of the air when you shower. Notice rust in the bathroom above the shower. The hot tub had dirt embedded in the floor. My husband was walking near the hot tub and walked on a steel little pipe sticking out of the cement. We will most likely not stay here anymore. Sad this was a great place to stay before. Hotel owner is not investing in it anymore.

Walking distance to boardwalk

The rooms were nice but had a funky smell that just didn’t go away.

The hotel was overall a great value for and older hotel. Rooms were clean, property was well maintained, staff were extremely friendly and it is a great location. We were able to walk everywhere. The only reason I gave four stars is the bathroom was very small and outdated. It had no fan and the faucet on the shower was broken. The latch lock on the room door was also broken which I like for added safely in hotels. Overall we had a great stay and would go back.

i’m staying here for years. I love this place. Great staff very clean and conveniently located in near downtown and the boardwalk.

The room smelled moldy and the heater /Ac smelled nasty when turned on. My 8 and 5 year complained about the smell.

Our room was clean, beds comfy, pool & hot tubs clean w/towels provided, and check-in & out was quick. A little pricey in relation to quality of accommodations, but I think the area & season allow the higher prices.

Nice place for a fair value, close to the beach, restaurants, and soccer fields across the street great for the kids.

Overall good. Stayed for one night the biggest complain is the uncomfortable flat pillows. It was quiet at night and felt safe and clean.

Found hair in random places. The bathroom were stained like it hadn't been cleaned, it is walking distance to the boardwalk so we liked that very much. The Indian staff wasn't very friendly to us. Overall, I give this hotel a solid 3.5. It can be better starting with the bathroom. It really needs to be scrubbed and sanitized.

Basic, confortable hôtel, excellent location across from Kennedy fields and short walk from the beach. AC in room. Bathroom could do with an update. There were loads of sand in the hot tub and jets didn't work, but that was the guest's fault and the staff cleaned the next morning.

I didn't like the cleaning service

Easy access to the wharf and road for travel. Quick 15 walk to down town as well. Onsite parking was nice and the pool was lovely.

The best thing about this lodge is it's location. It's right in the midst of Santa Cruz. Minutes from the Boardwalk. I liked that everything was close and easy to get to.

I dig places like this with super close access to the beach, comfortable beds and free parking. It’s not updated but seems to be maintained well and kept clean. Very happy with our stay.
