patient staff helped resolve my checkin mishap

The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. Expedia charged us $20 per person for breakfast, so we paid $40 total for my husband and me. However, when we went to get breakfast the next morning, the menu consisted of very basic items such as small egg bites, a bagel with cream cheese, an egg wrap, and an egg muffin. What made me even more disappointed was that these items were much cheaper at the hotel. The highest-priced breakfast item was only around $10. We paid $40 through Expedia for something that would have cost us much less if we had simply purchased breakfast at the hotel or eaten at a nearby restaurant. I felt very frustrated and disappointed because we could have had a much better breakfast at a nearby restaurant for less money. The hotel itself was good, but I would not recommend paying the breakfast fee through Expedia without checking the actual breakfast prices at the hotel first.

I bought yogurt for breakfast and the hotel location was perfect. It was within walking distance to what I needed. Would have liked a microwave and non paper coffee cups that don't leak. I used the same cup twice and it started leaking after I left the room with it.

Great place

We had a great experience at the Aloft. The only bad thing is that I am ruined because I got home and realized my shower sucked! The showers in the Aloft were PERFECT, the water pressure and space has spoiled me. I really appreciate Nick the valet he was extremely helpful to us in finding restaurants and local pleaces to checkout. Nick also had the best attitude and that goes really far with me these days. Thanks Nick and thanks Aloft for giving us a great place to stay. We really enjoyed it and we'll definitely be returning.

Great location! You are close to nice restaurants and bars you can walk from the hotel, you have two beaches to choose Lido Beach which is like 8 mins away and Anna Maria Island 25 mins a way both amazing .

The staff was polite and professional. The facilities were clean. Rooftop pool and bar. Breakfast available on property. Restaurant and bar on premises. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was located within walking distance of restaurants, market and entertainment. Bed seemed a bit smaller than the promised King... Super light on the bedding, quality seemed a bit reduced from our last stay at Aloft. Please, get the refrigerator out of the bathroom area!!

Exceptional

Cleanliness and the friendly female bartender and the friendly women at the desk Our room was in the corner looking out at a wall. That was depressing. There was only one chair in the room to sit on and it was uncomfortable.

Everything was wonderful as usual from check in till check out :)

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Lots of things to do nearby. Pet friendly. Pool area is relaxing and breakfast options and coffee were good. I did have to straighten out a couple issues with my booking such as it not showing that I purchased breakfast and my card getting charged for the stay even though I had already paid.

Good hotel, perfect location. Just I thought I would have total city view and it was partial city view, other than that it was good .

Loved how clean everything was, friendly staff, walking distance to marina and downtown. Only negative I had was that the pool deck could have had more umbrellas around the pool. Be back again for sure

The property was very disappointing. I would not recommend it to anyone. My room was on the second floor and i looked out on a filthy cement platform with tree remnants. The downstairs atrium was composed of dirty couches. The valets were variable. One didn’t even know where Main Street was, another was friendly and resourceful. The main desk staff were not friendly.

The check-in staff were very friendly and helpful.

Loved the location! WXYZ bar had excellent expresso Martini!

Staff was not very welcoming. No assistance was quickly available in lobby.
