Also, thank you to the restaurant staff who served me breakfast—they were friendly, attentive, and made each morning a great start to the day. Great Stay! Jake is awesome

Great service and very clean

We loved this unique, well run hotel. Everyone was helpful and fun to talk to. Jake at check-in was great. The room was lovely and clean and the location was outstanding.

I purchased a bundle through Expedia and also purchased the breakfast daily for an additional charge. The staff was friendly and the man said they would put the breakfast tickets under our door for the next mornings breakfast. The tickets were not under the door and we had to ask the lady the next morning. She then gave us 4 days of tickets, when we were supposed to get 5. When sitting down to breakfast it's a very limited expensive menu and the tickets only cover 35 dollars and we have to cover the rest. That should of been a detail in the breakfast purchase. Also while checking in he did let us check in early which I was very happy about however he took my card and said it was just to put in on file. I noticed everyday I was charged 75 dollars. I then questioned the lady ( acouple days later)at the front desk and she said there was a 40 dollar a day parking fee and 27 dollar fee for the use of the bikes and pool. Mean while I have already paid for the room for 5 days and didn't figure in an additional 400 dollar charge. I personally will never purchase a vacation bundle through Expedia again.

Extremely disappointed with the booking of this hotel. When I originally booked it said that there was breakfast included only for me to find out when I’m there that it wasn’t. Very sketchy on Expedia’s or the hotels part - unsure. I would be aware of booking at this hotel for that reason. I would have gone somewhere else.

I never write a review but THIS HOTEL WAS AWESOME. All of the employees were soooo nice. The front desk person, the breakfast waiter and Barry the shuttle guy was THE BEST! They all went over and beyond in so many ways. And the room was awesome too- super clean and beds were comfy!

Breakfast was a little overpriced

What stood out the most was the outstanding customer service, especially from Jake, who assisted us during check-in. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. When we asked for dinner recommendations, he even took the time to prepare a list of the closest and best restaurants for us, which we really appreciated. Thank you, Jake, and the entire Voco Sarasota team for making our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sarasota.

Around 8:00 p.m., while my husband and I were out for a walk, my father called to say he had a severe headache. I replied to the text requesting towels and something for his headache, but I never received a response. When we returned around 11:00 p.m., my father told me that no one had brought the requested items. I then called the front desk and was informed that the employee on duty was new and was not familiar with the texting system. I would recommend ensuring that all staff members are properly trained on the hotel’s communication system so that guest requests submitted by text are acknowledged and handled promptly. Aside from this experience, we had a pleasant stay.

Room next to elevator was unfortunate

Love to be so close! to the lido beach , Sarasota beach and St Armand , very clean and helpful on front desk at the hotel , I am returned guest and I will continue 😊

It was a very good nice day. Only thing is the AC was hot a lot of times being at 78° and it would take forever to get to the temperature you set it up until nightfall. Bsudes great overall stay shower was huge restaurant was great much to appreciate from this hotel.

Some bit of mold in the shower tiles so think they should do a more thorough deep cleaning. Otherwise everything was awesome!
