Clean room

The food served in the restaurant was absolutely marvelous, particularly their breakfasts. The rooftop bar drinks or a bit light on the alcohol, but the view was spectacular and service. Pleasant. Great location.

Great staff, the staff working at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. And the bar tender working in the lobby was awesome.

Upon checking in, I was greeted by the receptionist, who provided me with information for my stay. He was a very polite and friendly gentleman. He offered me a welcome drink, which I thought was nice. I booked 2 rooms, and they were both very clean and nice. The location of this hotel was nice, well-maintained, and clean. Parking off-site, in the covered garage, was a little expensive for the guests of the hotel. A discount should've been offered with proof of stay. Overall, I would stay again if I'm in the area.

I just saw my bill. Are you kidding me? A $28 destination charge plus a destination tax? Tax and 20% gratuity on a pantry item that’s already over priced? Valet was $45 and they added 7% sales tax onto that also. My room had what looked like black mold on the upholstery on the bed. Front desk said they would look into it but it was still there when I came back and no explanation was ever given. I wasn’t happy to begin with and now with this bill I’m very unhappy.

The hotel was beautiful, clean & close to downtown Sarasota making it convenient to walk everywhere. Overall, the hotel was great and the room was specious and clean. We were chosen as guests of the day & they gave us a free bottle of wine which was amazing! $45 to valet park was excessive. We chose to park in the parking garage but still had to pay $25. Also I didn’t like that a $28 amenity fee was added on to our bill even though we didn’t utilize anything that was “included” in that fee. I think it should be added only if you choose to utilize the services. Overall, the property was nice but I’m not sure it was worth the $300 / night price tag.

If you’re visiting Sarasota and want to be in the heart of Downtown, a shuttle ride to the beaches, and experience the city at its finest… Look no further than our ovation. It’s a five star hotel from the staff to the amenities the rooftop pool, the Food, the Art down to the linens. This is the spot.

Fabulous hotel. Unfortunately the rooftop was closed because of the love bugs but the staff made sure we had everything we needed

The hotel was terrific. We went to enjoy USA 250th celebration and fireworks. We arrived and the hotel staff showed me a plaque where I had been designated guest of the day and they gave us a free bottle of nice wine and free valet parking. The room was clean and plenty of space. Our first night we went to the rooftop bar and ate light with a burger and beers. On the 4th we took a walk on the streets in the morning, very clean and safe. After a trip to St Armands Circle in the afternoon, we rested and then went to the fireworks not far from the hotel. We ended the night at the downstairs bar with lots of happy people and staff. Art Ovation staff treated us great and the location is perfect for moving around Sarasota.

Great location as a base for Longboat Key, Anna Maria Island, etc. Nice boutique type hotel with personality

Very nice hotel. Excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful. The shuttle drivers always went above and beyond. The only thing that was missing was a microwave in the room and automatic entrance doors. I will definitely go back again.
