Embassy Suites by Hilton Sarasota, FL

This was a short stay while visiting friends in the area and we spent both nights eating and drinking at the restaurant on site. The views were fabulous. The staff were efficient and friendly. There was a small inconvenience at check in but the staff bent over backwards to make amends. I highly recommend this hotel and will be back!

One of the best places I have stayed

The hotel itself is great. Rooms are VERY spacious. The snacks mid day is a sweet touch, the morning breakfast was decent. BUT all the additional fees the hotel charges are OUTRAGEOUS! Plus $40 per night for parking. Location is close to downtown and a short drive from the beaches. Due to all the fees, don’t think we will be staying here again.

The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast and the staff at the breakfast area who were kind, helpful and friendly. Front desk staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms however were not spot clean. Dusty, disgusting under furniture. The main turn off was the room cleaning not done properly. My baby’s feet were black after walking without shoes in the room. The cleaning staff are a hit or miss. One of them handed me the sheets for the pack and play and told me do it myself it’s easy! Others were friendly but you have to ask them to do stuff. Why wouldn’t they automatically vacuum and mop daily? I understand if they don’t change the sheets daily but I care about being in a clean space. Also there is a daily $28 charge that is mandatory. We never used it to dine in their restaurant simply because our schedule doesn’t align. The parking is ridiculously expensive ($40 a day) but no other parking options available. It’s also an awkward parking. The view is ok but not the best. I regret staying for 8 nights but the location was convenient.

Second stay and we highly recommend hotel. Staff and very friendly and helpful. Amenities are 5 star, especially the managers reception. This is our go to hotel when visiting Lido Beach.

Breakfast was good as usual. The welcome reception was honestly pathetic. Bartending staff was not very pleasant and only offered ex extremely and I mean extremely limited drinks and the snacks were so so
