The Westin Sarasota

Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. Excellent location with lots of great restaurants nearby. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. We had an enjoyable weekend stay with family. The rooftop pool is lovely.

Amazing location and amenities. Beautiful views, sunset, bayview and city view. The staff were great, super helpful and professional. Food and drinks were delicious. Clean, comfortable, beautiful rooms.

There was a water leak in front of the window

The property is clean and well-maintained. The restaurant should have more organic items. The staff should open the door for guests, especially when they are struggling with luggage.

Parking (valet only) overpriced at $53.50 per night, but suppose it comes with the location. Overall very good, would return.

Breakfasts wonderful- staff exceedingly helpful. I would change the bed comforters- much to heavy and lumpy

Great location

It is a beautiful property and the bar and pool on the rooftop is a wonderful experience. However, on our second night, we had a smell coming into our room from the AC and heating unit that was absolutely toxic. It’s smelled like burning, rubber or electrical wires burning. Every time the system came on the smell dominated the entire room. My wife and I were very concerned and felt very uncomfortable breathing the air. When I told the desk about it the next morning, they offered a $50 refund. I didn’t say anything more, but I was really kind of shocked. It ruined our entire second night and we were awake a good portion of the night. In my mind. They should’ve refunded the cost for that nights stay but they did not. Having said that, all the other aspects of the hotel were more than acceptable.

The hotel it's amazing, clean room, excellent foods and good location. The Rooftop has exceptional view.

Extra fee for parking vehicle, rooftop bar was closed and views were obstructed by maintenance/window cleaning. Purchased ahead of time breakfast for two but yet Marriott did not show my reservations for breakfast pre-purchased, no help from front desk! Beds are not soft or comfortable.

We absolutely love staying at The Westin Sarasota. It has become our favorite hotel in Sarasota, and every visit is always a great experience. A special thank you to Maria Anderson at the front desk. Maria is truly wonderful and is a big reason we always have so much fun when we stay. She is friendly, welcoming, helpful, and always makes us feel like we are coming back to see a friend. Her personality and positive attitude make every stay special. Thank you to the entire Westin Sarasota team for always making us feel welcome. We look forward to coming back again and again!
