Very cozy. Not much privacy in the sense that you feel like anyone in the building can hear sounds you make in the room at night but otherwise it was a lovely quaint little place.
-
Such a special, unique place to stay. Property was well maintained, room was spacious and clean, and you are centrally located to be able to experience all of what Sarasota has to offer. Will stay again when in the area.

There was no kitchenette, the Wi-Fi didn't work my room was above their restaurant, I had to leave because the noise level the next day from setting up in the restaurant was prohibitive, Finally when the manager came to work on the WIFI, it was way too slow, and I couldn't use website on my phone. I had to walk about 1/5 mi away to make phone calls, the chef and staff asked me to leave when I tried to show some guests that in fact their network wasn't listed on the desk reference I was provided in my room, I had to keep running back and forth to the restaurant down the street and plead with them to let me use their phone! It was completely humiliating in both situations.

Everything was as it was told and very well maintained. The restaurant was excellent. The Lady at the restaurant was extremely nice, professional and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and the prices were very reasonable.

Adorable room, we loved it! Characterful, clean, comfortable King bed, great A/C, wood floors, lots of large windows, our particular room had a large bathroom & large shower, but each room is different. Each room has a name; our room had the same name as the hotel: The Reserve Retreat room It is literally right on a major road with a lot of traffic; there is traffic noise all the time. I actually like this, but some people might not. The A/C drowns out a lot of it; we had NO trouble sleeping.

Great place definitely recommend, such a cute little spot with so much history. It’s self check in which is so nice if you just want to get there and not talk to anyone after a long day of travel. Loved that there weren’t many people around. All in all it’s a very nice quiet beautiful spot!

The place was centrally located. Air conditioning was amazing and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was a little tight and the water pressure was a little low, but everything worked.I would definitely stay there again

The room was very comfortable. It's all contactless but I did make a phone call with them and they were helpful. If the weather was cooler the patio would have been a lovely place to relax but it was well into the 90s, which is too hot for me. The room AC was perfect.

Perfect location, rooms are clean.

Very charming and moderately priced. Would love to stay again for longer time.

There was no breakfast, but I was not expecting one. The only thing missing was a chest or dresser to unload our suitcase into. It is a great quaint old apartment that circus staff lived in many years ago and had full refrigerator, and adequate stove. The bed was good and the AC kept us cool, that is important when it is 100.
-
The place itself was nice. I love old style boutique hotels. No complaints on the hotel itself. My only complaint is from the Expedia site. The pictures on the site leads you to believe that some of the rooms have kitchens that don’t actually have kitchens. The standard rooms don’t have kitchens.

Clean and very close to everything especially the airport. The restaurant was wonderful on the property.! An extra mirror in room Charles would be great.
-
A charming little property near downtown Sarasota. It's central to all of the attractions, shops and beaches. The owners are very attentive to your needs. They are helpful with ideas for entertainment and nearby dining.

The location was super convenient, parking included was easy & helpful! The room was very clean and had plenty of towels, ice cube trays, technology to be very comfortable! Our room was on ground level, so was a bit noisy (Street traffic, people staying above us) - easily fixable with earplugs. We did have to have the blinds closed throughout the day so no one could see in, but that did help maintain the room temperature. Also, the bed is very, very soft (no firmness for support).
