Best Western Schaumburg – O’Hare NW

On the bright side, check-in was super fast, and the staff was really nice. The location is convenient right by the highway, with a mall and lots of places to eat nearby, plus there’s plenty of parking. Breakfast was actually pretty tasty, and the room looked clean at first glance. But the room comfort was a total mess. The biggest issue was the smell — it was awful, like someone had smoked inside and they tried to mask it with air freshener. The AC blows like crazy, but there’s zero ventilation, so the air felt completely stale. The Wi-Fi was super weak. Also, the wiring is completely messed up: every single time the fridge kicked on or off, the TV would just go black for 5 seconds. To top it off, they hit us with a $100 deposit at check-in, which wasn't mentioned anywhere when booking. It works if you just need a cheap place to crash for one night and aren't picky, but the smell and tech issues ruined it for me.

Late night check in due to flight being canceled. Able to get a room. Airport shuttle not free and not available in the morning. Fitness center equipped with a couple treadmills. No weights to work with. No wipes. Swimming pool not available. Breakfast offered but no variety and warm food cold. Noisy air conditioner in room. Biggest complaint was that hotel was not what was advertised.

The AC was making noice and the breakfast was bad . We arrived at mid night and the boy staff was continuously staring.

Everything was great. Comfortable beds and very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location nice staff

Very unclean, no room service and poor breakfast.

Convenient location at a reasonable price and nice that we could walk to get dinner with other nearby shopping possibilities.

Nice, clean room for our quick visit to Schaumburg. Very close to great mall and many food choices. Would definitely stay again.

I was staying at the first floor. My window lock was not working so it can be opened easily from outside.

No Good for All !

Breakfast was out of food and juice machine was not working. We also had tornado sirens go off during our stay and the hotel had no plan/idea of where guests need to go to find a place to shelter safely.

The room was clean and we had a place to sleep for the night. The shuttle service to/from the airport is not a free service. I filtered my search results specifically for shuttles. It isn't until you do a deep dive into the full list of amenities that you see the additional fee flag. And it's an expensive shuttle service. $30 one way, even if you have a reservation.

Conveinient. Nice Area. Shuttle bus to airport was a plus. Hallways smelled.
