Reside Seattle Downtown, a Wyndham Residence

The location is great. We were able to explore downtown come back for a break and walk right back outside to the middle of downtown. The staff was nice and our code worked perfect to get into the property. About halfway through our trip or code stopped working but the front desk gave us a new one in 2 minutes. We had the smaller studio and it was perfect for 2 adults. They had dishes,pots and pans to use. The portable AC kept us cool during our stay (July). Overall great place and would stay again if back in Seattle.

Not a very well kept property. No central air conditioning. Just a portable unit which was very loud. Dryer did not work. Couch in the living room is very old and uncomfortable. Bathroom was very small. You can find much better hotels for same or lower prices. Would not recommend.

We had never stayed in this type of hotel it was not old but remodeled to maintain its vintage historic charm. It also had a washing machine and a kitchenette. I would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend.

The place was in poor shape and the washers Didn’t work

The location is unbeatable. And the staff is really friendly and helpful.

It’s a perfect location … and that’s all this place has going for it. Internet didn’t work the entire five days I was there. You could only close my room’s door by slamming it shut and open it by pulling as hard as possible. Furniture was all falling apart. TV had three Roku remotes, none of which worked. There’s no way to take the stairs up to your room, so you’re forced to wait for the world’s slowest elevator, even if you’re on the second or third floor.

Great accommodation. Difficult to locate

It was so cute! We loved staying here. It's a stones throw from the action, literally! They're a secure, nondescript property of apartments. Kitchenette, medium sized refrigerator, dishes, cookware, etc. The beds, you ask? Like sleeping in a cloud. My back didn't even hurt. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. But, it can be loud. It doesn't bother me, some of the noise is sirens, seagulls, and things they can't control, but overall an excellent stay for us!

Unique property with a full kitchen in the room, which is helpful. One of the washcloths was soaking wet when I checked in (it was folded on the sink so maybe the sink leaked on it?) but otherwise everything was clean and acceptable. Lots of street noise but with the fan on, it helped a lot. Right across from Pike’s Place, with a nice view.

The rooms stink, two days in the row my room door was open when I came back in the evenings

Terrible experience. I have never been so duped by a listing before. I was expecting a bright, clean room with somewhat of a view based off the pictures on the listing. However we got a dingy room with views to a brick wall. The room looked nothing like the photos. The bathroom was horrid, did not appear properly cleaned. There were literally snot rockets on the shower curtain. The fixtures on the walls were not bolted properly and you could see the prior attempts of wall drilling, it’s insane to me that these were not patched up. Worst of all NO AIR CONDITIONING. There was a heat wave in Seattle when we were visting, imagine sleeping in a 80+ degree room. AC was advertised on the listing so you can imagine my surprise when there was no AC in the unit. The staff was not able to switch our rooms to a unit with AC. For that problem in addition to the poor quality / dirtiness of the hotel… we left early! We couldn’t stand another minute in that place. I will never stay at another Wyndham property again. Please stay far away from this hotel. It is not worth your time and especially not your money.

They cheerfully held out luggage until 5:00 p.m. on day of departure so we could explore.

The location was phenomenal. Our bathroom door came off the hinges and I had to let them know. The shower head was leaking all over when you shower anddfid not work. honestly think I should've gotten a discount for that! I had to go downstairs and hand them the screws that came off. That's the reason for the low score.
