We loved staying at the Alexis Royal Sonesta Hotel in Seattle. We arrived early and were greeted by super friendly staff who parked our car securely and got us into our room early. We had to pay a fee to get in early, but it was appreciated as we had a baseball game that afternoon. The location is super convenient, the rooms are comfortable and the staff were all wonderful. I would highly recommend staying here again! If I could only give one critique, it was that the warm water took a little while in the shower, but that wasn't a deal breaker at all.

He was helpful, attentive and just lovely to deal with! His colleague - whose name I won’t mention - was horrible to deal with. But Noble redeemed it all !! All around - a great short stay for us!

Great location. Rooms were spacious and clean.

Calm and mostly quiet hotel Staff helpful, kudos to Valet for their help with shuttle and luggage storage Is it really necessary to charge early check in fee for a ready room???! Would be a nice perk And thanks for the adorable metal room keys!!!

As it stands this establishment does not have a functioning restaurant though they claim that the “Bookstore” restaurant is a functioning establishment, it is not! We tried it three times and the one time it was open, it was average at best and a group of 4 guests got into a shouting match with the waitress. The first night we were told that the chef went home early so they closed it! The surprises continued with the twenty minutes it took for extra pillows and then the refusal on a delayed checkout on July 5. What solidified my opinion about this property was the couple of hours I sat in the earshot of the front desk killing time and waiting to get closer to our flight. I can tell you that this staff constantly told guests with different requests how they could not help them. They did help some but definitely the theme was a “sorry, no” than a “let me make that happen”. Interestingly they kept suggesting that the guests put their complaints in the “review” section! At almost $600 a night I guess the fool was me but the reviews were”outstanding”! Bottom line, this is a pig with lipstick. Nothing “Royal” about this hotel as the name suggests. Don’t waste your hard earned money and valuable time. Go elsewhere.

Friendly staff very large, clean rooms and the staff in the restaurant is absolutely outstanding especially Robert

We requested a room with 2 beds but were given one with only one so the other adult had to sleep in a small rollaway with the feet out. Staff was very helpful and gave us a bottle of sparkling cider however we did not drink it. We did not use the fitness center. The restaurant was expensive and slow. Overall the location was great, the place was clean and the staff good, I gave it 4 stars because of the inconvenience with the room and the restaurant. It was also very loud at night but that comes with the location.

Small but beautifully appointed room. Just a brief overnight stay but it was lovely.

The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were spacious. Bathroom was big and modern. It was in a great location for our trip for the FIFA World Cup being walking distance to the stadium and the waterfront. The concierge was so friendly and helpful. The barista in the Bookstore Cafe was also very friendly and accomodating. There was a funky smell in the hallway and our room. We had to keep our window opened but as our room faced the street and was very noisy. We enjoyed the Bookstore Cafe but they closed too early.

Perfect location. Amazing staff. Only issue was the attached restaurant. We stayed Wednesday - Saturday and only one day did the restaurant stay open for all business hours. Other days they closed early, were out of espresso or had no cooks working. Staff was friendly at the restaurant but it would be nice to have a good restaurant available in the hotel. Such a shame, because the hotel itself is great.
-
Great hotel for visiting Seattle. Lovely hotel, easy access to everything. Room (2 queen beds) was huge. Staff very friendly & helpful.
-
Convenient and rooms were very nice. Rooms felt luxe and moody. Shower was great and bathroom was modern. The front desk was helpful to get us checked-in and even placed my family on the same floor.

Very good location bathtub with curtain

Very nice and quaint hotel. Close to a lot of Seattle attractions. Pike’s Market, waterfront, stadiums! Hotel bar was relaxing!
-
Perfect location for either of the ball parks and Pike's Market. Easily walkable to all. Excellent property.

Exstodinary service relatively reasonable especially at the last minute. Had a snafu at a compeditora few blocks away. They tripled the price after a refund reached out to the Alexis and booked for the price I had seen a few days earlier. They didn't double the valet, like the competition. The front desk was exstaodinarily kind and upgraded us to a suite. Bed was comfortable a bit noisy but not unexpected due to the world cup. It will be our first choice next time.

Something I didn’t realize is that the single king rooms don’t have a desk. So if you’re planning on doing work, get a different room format.
